Love this tent! Love the Customer Service!
Just got this an hour ago. The overall tent is awesome. I've never seen the aluminum poles before but they are much sturdier than the poles from a "cheapy" tent. The flooring is interesting too... Its heavy duty but not like a tarp feel. Once I get this thing out in the field I will update the review.Minor issue is the side pocket. When manufactured it looks as if the mesh folded over so now I have a smaller pen holding spot as well. Again minor issue.*** Updates ***I got to use my tent! It was super humid out and I stayed dry and comfortable in the tent. When adding the footprint to it, it keeps the bottom of the tent safe from moisture and debris which can seriously screw up anything when you store it away. This is a must buy tent in my opinion. Its about quality and value.***Update***I love this tent but came home to the broken leg poking through the cover. Where can I find replacement parts?***Update 2***For anyone sitting on the fence about this tent, buy it. The customer service is well worth it in the long run when buying this tent. As you see with the photos of the damage with my original purchase, Luxe Tempo went above and beyond and replaced the ENTIRE tent! Yep, I got a brand new tent today in the mail. I plan on buying a larger Luxe Tempo tent for my family.Solid tent, fantastic customer service, I WILL be buying another!

Worked well in the rain
Took this tent on a three day trip down the Buffalo River. The temperatures were about 75 during the day and no lower than 50 at night. It's listed as a 2 person tent but I'm tall and not skinny so I got it just for me. The width of the tent was just right for me to sleep and be able to set some things inside without encroaching on my sleeping area. I am about 5'10" tall and it was almost too short. I ended up turning at a slight angle so my head and feet didn't touch the tent. I will say it rained hard and I did NOT put the strings on with extra stakes, I only used the stakes for the loops at the edges of the tent. This allowed the tent fly to touch the inner tent at several places. Even though I didn't set the tent up all the way, NOT A DROP of rainwater got inside the tent. The only moisture was on the inside of the fly from condensation, and even that didn't get in the tent, it only dripped down the outside of the inner tent.It was very easy (and fast) to set up and take down. By the third day I was beating the seasoned guys with tent set up and take down. The vestibule held a very large drybag with about half the items taken out of it(110 L Bills Bag). I packed my tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, land shoes, pillow, etc in the drybag so with those things removed it wasn't slap full by any means. I ended up using one side of the tent for entering and exiting and the other for storing things under the vestibule. The height of the tent was tall enough I could easily sit up and change clothes inside without struggling. So all in all, for this three day trip, I was pleased with the price and functionality of the tent.

A bit short
Generally, this tent is a pretty good deal, but at 78", it is just about 6" or so too short for a 6'2" person like myself. It is a 4 season tent which means that it has less built in venting in the walls of the tent, but venting for cold weather camping can be accomplished by opening vents built into the doors. It could use some better stake offs for the rain fly to help to make sure that the rainfly does not contact the tent. The vestibules are larger than other backpacking tents I have seen... especially at this price and that is also a plus.

Nice quality
I’ve used this as a base camp tent and spent a few nights in it.It was strong and warm.At the cost it’s an extraordinary tent, yet a few things to know about:This isn’t a hiking tent,it weighs 5.9lbs.This is a 4 season tent and ,materials are thick and robust, for ventilation only 2 mesh windows and roof vents ,it requires a taut pitch with all guylines and stakes for minimal condensation.

Good choice if you are not super tall and don't care too much about weight.
This tent is perfect for me (5'4") but my 6'4" boyfriend has to lay diagonal and still touches both ends. So if you are a longboy, size up. Other than that it is easy to put up and pack down and I have used it backpacking multiple times. It isn't the lightest or smallest tent for backpacking (it takes up about half of my 55L Bag space-wise), so if you are really counting ounces, you may need to shell out more cash for a lighter/smaller one. But for 2-3 day weekender trips, this it perfect.

Easy to assemble, Recommended
This tent is easy to set up and take down. The pockets built into the inner corners and the net pockets in the top center were perfect additions. I used a small laptop up in the top pockets to watch tv while laying down. Worked like a charm. It says its a 2 person tent, and while yes it can hold 2 people, it will not hold 2 people with 2 sleeping bags and equipment. But that seems to be typical of all tents and how they are labeled. The tent was wind proof and water tight. Unlike what others have mentioned, I did not have any problems with any of the zippers. If you are camping alone I would highly recommend this tent.

Love this tent
Love this tent! Both times we have taken it out camping, it has rained and we have stayed completely dry. The first time was a complete thunderstorm/downpour and no water got in the tent at all.All zippers work very well, material is good quality and seams and stitching seems very secure. The tent fits me (5'4", 135lb) and my boyfriend (6'2", 190lbs) comfortably and that is about it. This is not a large tent. You probably could fit a small dog in with us, but our Pit Bull and Bulldog sleep in their kennels in our van - they would never fit except for on top of us.

recommend it
We used this tent on a-5day excursion through the southwest and it was marvellous for wild camping ! It rained on us relentlessly for 2days and this offered a great place to rest and wait out the weather in spite of the uncommon temperatures changes We stayed warm and none fo the gear got wet.A small amount of condensation was found on the fly in the morning but that was minor . I would recommend this tent with clear conscience !
