Kuryakyn 4392 Motorcycle Foot Control Component: Premium Mini Board Floorboards with Male Mount Adapters, Chrome, 1 Pair

I had trouble finding mini boards that would fit my 2017 HD Sportster XL 1200C. Even those directly from HD didn't fit! These require an adapter peg (also available through Kuryakyn) long enough to fit the oversize clevis, but once i had that, getting these on was a breeze. Love both the look and feel. Adjustable, so you can position it exactly how you like. Felt like quality as I was installing. Heavy materials with solid, firm fit both at install and riding. Pricier than other options, but this was the first and only thing (after trying several others) that I found that fit!

I don't know why I have waited so long to order these for my 2012 HD Super Low XL883L?!They are the best upgrade I have so far made for my motorcycle. They are not as small as they look to be in the photo. They will easily let you sit you entire feet feeling like you have a complete board to rest on.Quality is amazing and the chrome finish is just breathtaking.It also great that they have three positions to chose from to fit. On my Super Low, the middle position was horrible. I couldn't quite brake as much as I would have liked to and my foot always got stuck between the mini board and the gear shifter. Then I moved to the third position leaving a larger gap between the mini board and the peddles both sides. That is when I felt the beauty of these boards.When I cruise around, my feet rest so well on the board that I feel like I'm riding a bigger motorcycle. The shifting and braking are now smooth and easy.Warning: I first ordered these thinking they would be supplied with the corresponding Splined Adapters, but they were NOT! You have to order the splined adapters separately! Don't forget that. Also, if you want the boards to fold, make sure to order "Pivoting Adapters". If you like to have them open all the time like I do, go for "Non-Pivoting Adapters".For most Harley Davidson pegs, Kuryakyn 8883 (non-pivoting) and Kuryakyn 8881(pivoting) adapters will work just fine. At least for Sportster models, they will both work depending on your taste for the folding feature or not.Take my advise and DON'T go for cheap boards and get this set. You won't regret it!

I put a pair of these on my Honda CTX700 (also using the 8815 Splined Adapter Mounts by the same manufacturer). I've never really liked pegs, which make you feel like you're perching on a tree branch at 80mph; these provide a much nicer and more pleasant riding experience (like standing on the floor!). They're the same width as the original pegs, so there's no problem with dragging on turns. You can select the tilt of the board at installation time since the board and mount connect via a spline joint.One thing that's not clear from the product description is that there are actually 3 positions on the board where you can attach the mount, which gives you some possibilities for moving the boards fore and aft on the bike. This worked out well on my wife's bike since her legs are a bit shorter and this gives her a bit less of a stretch. Also helps you find the best position with respect to the shifter and foot brake.Very solidly made, good looking, and easy to install.

I installed this on my 2020 RKS and it looks very similar to the pattern on my front/driver floorboard. Everything looks good. Only 1 very minor detail is the Kuryakyn floorboard has 4 chrome metal lining but the original driver floorboard has brushed stainless lining.Other than that, its comfortible and does not stick out too far to interfere with the driver when the bike is at the stop light. I was able to shift my legs back a bit to move the bike forward with the Kuryakyn floorboard down.

These are pretty decent, especially at the price. I wanted something for passenger floorboards for my Heritage Softail, but wasn't really into spending the $400-500+ dollars for pans, inserts, mounts, etc. from Harley. These look pretty good and were a lot less money. They are pretty versatile with the three mounting holes and splined mount design, so you can position forward/backward, and tilt them how you like. The big thing is that when you get these, they are FLOORBOARDS ONLY, all mounts are separate and don't come with it (which I knew from reading the description). Quality is pretty much on-par with any Kuryakn thing I've bought, like grips, mirrors, etc. Good chrome, decently heavy-duty, and no issues with installation. Very happy with these. Size-wise, I'd put these more in the mini-floorboard category, not full-sized.

I knew these were not the right hole size for my OEM pegs so I knew modifications were in the todo list. But the they are wide enough. They feel very good quality, unlike others online and the fact that they are adjustable is a plus. They are as bit bigger than the originals and make for better foot rest and support. In order to compensate the looseness of the pin, I bought a rubber bushing that fitted snug in the new peg hole, and then pushed the OEM pin in between. And to make everything tight on the sides I added additional thicker plastic bushing, along with metal washers to make it more sturdy and avoid any looseness. See images. They're not as tightly fitted as the originals but they are snug enough to place your whole body weight on them and not have them shift around.

To be fair, very few aftermarket applications would work on bike. As I have come to find out the 2023 Kawasaki VN 900 Classic has a slanted bracket on the OE passenger pegs; I suspect they're forcing customers to buy the OE product, which are sturdy (I've had them on other Kawis) of very high quality and comfortable, but C'mon with the $240 price tag of the OE product. That alone was why I reached out to Kuryakyn. They offer some very nice mods, but these could never be made to fit on my bike. I wish!!
