Works well for long HD movies
Fits up to 4 hours of 1920x1080 video, 7 hours of 1280x720, and 15 hours of 720x480 (DVD quality) video. Longer times might be achieved with reduced quality, sample rate, and other factors. No bad disks out of 12 used so far. Top surface feels rough and porous, but is easily written on by indelible ink. If mistake is made on label, it can be removed mostly with alcohol, but a ghost marking will remain.

Most worked great, but a couple defective ones
For the most part I had a good experience with these discs. But 2 of this discs out of my spindle of 25 just gave me errors when i tried to write to them. A pretty good record overall, but when you figure each disc costs just under $2, that's $4 I just threw in the garbage. That makes me a little hesitant to buy more of these.

Great Product at a Fantastic Price, But NO LONGER MADE BY VERBATIM
***UPDATE*** Dec10,2014========================As you can see from my earlier posts regarding this product, I've been very happy with these discs, in part because they were apparently made in Verbatim fab facilities. NOT ANY MORE! The latest batch I received on Dec 10, 2014, are now from Ritec, which are generally NOT regarded to be anywhere near as good as Verbatim discs. The only good news is that these these discs are actually encoded to burn accurately at 6x speed, whereas the previous Verbatim-made discs had a maximum burn speed of only 4x (as reported by the metadata recorded onto the blank discs). It would be nice if PlexDisc had reduced the price, since I have to believe that they are paying less for the Ritec discs for the Verbatim discs.***DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE WITH RITEK BR-D-DL DISCS?***=================================================================I love these discs! I've gone through 50 so far, having bought them in the 10-packs until now, to make sure they were reliable (many other blank BD-R products I've bought over the last 3 years have returned bad or disappointing results. But of the 50 I have burned so far, I've had only 1 coaster, and that was my fault. But the price on the 10-packs has been inching up over the last 2 months (from $23.95 to $28.95) here on AMAZON, so I figured it was time to start buying in larger lots.As I have commented in my earlier reviews of the 10-packs, ImgBurn burning software reports these (the 10-pack discs, at least) as only supporting 2x and 4x burn speeds, not 6x as advertised, and as marked on the discs themselves. I haven't opened this pack yet, but I'm assuming they will report the same speeds. But since they actually seem to be Verbatim discs, it's very comforting when using them to burn data archives.Mindflyer***UPDATE*** Sep30,2014========================Well... I was afraid of this. As I've mentioned in my other reviews of this product, they make for incredibly burns (minimal coasters), they appear to be make by Verbatim, and they are an INCREDIBLE BARGAIN. As I mentioned above, I made my first purchase of a 25-pack here at AMAZON on Sep. 18. Up until that time I had been buying 10-packs to gauge their quality before buying a large quantity that might turn out to be garbage. Quite the contrary! These are arguably the BEST BluRay burnables I've ever purchased. So as the price began creeping up on the 10-pack, I moved to the 25-pack. On Sep 18 they were $49.95. I was just about to buy another couple of 25-packs, and now--JUST 2 WEEKS LATER--the price has jumped to $69.95, and as Murphy's Law would have it, the moment I tried to submit my order, I got a response saying that the item is no longer available, and AMAZON has NO IDEA if it will ever be available again.BuyDotCom still appears to have it at the $69.99 price point, but I can't find it very many other places anywhere close to that price.I checked the PlexDisc website to see their authorized dealers, and what other product package sizes the discs come in. They show a 50-pack, but a web search using that SKU got NO RESULTS (except for the page on the PlexDisc site itself).I hope that our collective good fortune of having found a source for (what we all hope are) Verbatim BDR-DL 6x discs at such an incredible price isn't about to dry up on us. Maybe PlexDisc is realizing that they can justifiably raise their price now (after a few months of market introduction with loss-leader pricing), or maybe Verbatim doesn't like the marketplace finding out that we can buy their products under a different private label at less than half what Verbatim themselves charge.Whatever the reason, I hope we don't lose this valuable channel for such good product at such a great price.Buy them now, while you still can--even if it's the 10-pack.Mindflyer-

Great discs at a great price.
I’ve bought 5 packs of these now. My son has also bought several packs as well. These have a thick plastic coating that protects the discs. I’ve made backup copies of my Blu-rays and DVDs. So far I’ve only had 1 bad disc and I honestly think it was more about bad sector than the blank disc being the issue. I also like that they have the white paper tops instead of branded discs. It says you can print your own label but I have not tried to do that yet. I would highly suggest these discs.

No coasters, that's a big plus
Write speed good, I always burn slower, found it helps reduce chance of write errors. White label allows for direct printer labeling (if you're into that level). I just find it easier when using a sharpie
