The World of Eric Carle(TM) Eric Carle Decorative Prints (World of Eric Carle by Chronicle Books) Hardcover – April 8, 2009

So glad I bought these! My 6 month old daughter has loved caterpillars since the day she was born. Her favorite toy is a caterpillar, and she loves Eric Carle stories. I took down some wall shelves in her nursery that I was not using, and realized I needed to replace something onto her bare walls. A lot of kids artwork or nursery décor was fairly expensive, so I took a chance, bought these prints, and some 12x16 black wall picture frames. I didn't use any mats - just took the prints I wanted out of the book (peel slowly, and make sure to bend at the crease, or the edges of the print might tear) and put them in the frames. An easy, inexpensive DIY solution for wall art. The prints are beautiful - high quality paper and colors. My personal favorite was the alphabet print and the numbers prints - very bright and educational! My husband loved the sloth and joked we should hang it up in our room, it was too adorable. There were plenty of prints left over after I selected the ones for my daughter's nursery, so I plan to frame the rest and give them as gifts to friends and family members when they have children. My toddler son loved the folded up book cover the prints came in, and likes to store his artwork inside it. Great job with this item, Eric Carle!

I was looking for wall decor for my son’s Eric Carle nursery and couldn’t justify spending over $100 and sometimes $200 on other websites for his canvas prints. This is an AMAZING alternative. The book was bigger and nicer than I imagined it would be, the prints are on thicker cardboard type paper and are more colorful and beautiful than the pictures make them out to be. I wasn’t exactly sure how nice they would be from the pictures and limited information but decided to give them a try and I’m so glad I did. These will be beautiful framed on the wall of his nursery!

These Eric Carle prints are perfect for a bright, Carle themed nursery. The prints aren't all from popular Eric Carle books, but many of the pictures are things that are highly exciting for babies and toddlers like trains, rubber ducks, and giraffes.I found that a cheap, colorful way to frame the prints was Ikea's Nyttja frames. I bought red (framed the caterpillar and the alphabet), green (sloth in the tree and the giraffe), and blue (penguins and train). The frames were inexpensive and the colors complement the prints well. Tiny bit of trimming to get the perfect fit, but quick and easy and fun to look at.

These are a great value!!! Beautiful vivid prints !Looked at many prints online for my kids shared room doing a world of Eric Carl’s theme. Other prints I looked at were going for hundreds of dollars. I will have to frame these but they are well worth the price !!!

These prints gave us such an easy way to decorate our nursery in bright colors. The only problem is I love far more of the prints than we have room to put up! So, we'll just have to rotate through them.I didn't frame them, but for those of you confused by the measurements, we pulled out the ruler and they are, indeed, 12 x 16, for those of you looking to frame them. They are easy to pull out of the book, or leave in. We ended up buying some cute, cloth-covered push pins on etsy and adhering them to the wall that way.

I was really hoping for more prints from the Hungry Caterpillar book. However, all of the art prints in this set are excellent. Nice primary colors for young children. Sadly only one print of the caterpillar is included. I have decorated my son's room with The Hungry Caterpillar and would have liked a print of some of the food or the butterfly. I just ended up using the ABC's and 123's prints next to the caterpillar and also the train on an opposite wall.

Such a great deal for nursery decor as buying individual pieces adds up fast, great quality and beautiful prints! Just a tip, if you want frames with mats for these I found them at ikea! Seriously couldn’t find 16x20 frames with 12X16 mats anywhere else.

These prints are really cute and printed on thick quality paper. 12 x 16 in size -- 5 vertical, 7 horizontal. I bought them for my playroom and found some inexpensive frames at Michael's with 11 x 14 mat openings. Most of the prints were too large to fit in that size mat, but I did find 4 that worked. I looked for frames with a 12 x 16 mat with no success. But if you don't want a mat, there are lots of 12 x 16 frames out there. I wish there was a second book of these with additional prints -- they are so great looking!
