Halo Razor Women's 5-Blade Razor

First, the packaging was awesome. Normally, (like with Venus or other brands) packaging is a pain to try to cut open. I went to tackle this packaging, but quickly and happily realized it was the easiest open packaging. Had perforated backing that popped right off.The razor is great, super close shave and smooth. I recommend going slow/being careful around knees/ankles bc it is a close shave. Love that the blades are made in USA, cruelty free.

My first priority are cruelty free products. I could only find a 2 blade razor at Sprouts Natural Market but it did not glide, feel comfortable in the hand, or leave the best shave. I hated it. Then I came across the Halo Personna razor[[ASIN:B00D9SAE2E Halo Razor Women's 5-Blade Razor]. The package compares it to the Venice Embrace. I don't know what that one's like, but this is my favorite razor of all time!

This razor is great for me. I have alwaysed used the wire wraped blades for my shaving needs. I was looking for a cruelty free brand and I was skeptical because regular ones give me razor burn on my sensitive skin.This did not and also came with an extra blade.

Purchased this because I was tired of spending so much on the Venus Embrace refills and other reviews called this comparable and much cheaper. Plus, I liked so much that these are cruelty free because I am a crazy pet lover. I was sorely disappointed in these. I get razor burn and irritation very very easily. Embrace barely gives me any of that, but these do. Also, these would be more expensive for me in the long run because they do not last nearly as long as Embrace. I have to shave under my arms every day (only shave my legs about once a week), and I could use an Embrace every day for a month or slightly more before it needed to be changed. I've been using this one for two weeks and it's needed to be changed for a couple days now... Very disappointing, but I will have to go back to Embrace.HOWEVER, if you do not suffer from irritation and do not need to shave every day, these would be a great product for you. They just do not meet my personal needs.

This is a great razor! I previously used the popular Venus Embrace (it even says on the Personna package that they are comparable) and they pretty much are. But Personna's Halo razor is even better with its cruelty-free high quality! And it's cheaper on Amazon! I love the ergonomic handle, too. It doesn't say in the description, but it came with a holder and suction cup that you can attach to your shower wall!

When I received this order the razors I got were not even the brand Halo.. Very disappointed and truly that's false advertisement!! Plus they were actually for men but say women's. I did read a review that this happened to someone else but thought I'd give them a chance and happened to me as well.

This razor brand does not test on animals and is one of the very few brands that does not. It works just as good as the big brand names, and is only a fraction of the cost. I purchased a razor with a pack of refills, and the total with shipping was still less than the cost of most big brand name razors alone.

I really wanted to like this. I was so looking forward to owning a cruelty-free razor! Unfortunately, I got nicked by it literally every time I used it--and that is not something that ever happened with any other razors. At first, I thought maybe I was being unusually rough, but it didn't matter how gentle I tried to be--still got cut. I had no choice to switch over to another non-cruelty-free brand... which has been working fine (and not cutting me) for the past two years.
