Better quality than more readily available pumps.
Impressed with quality right out of the box, came with watertight connections! So far very impressed with the performance, time will tell on durability.

Nice pump
Installs easy and works well. This replaced the exact same unit I put in 7 years ago. This well has a lot of sediment which may have shortened its life.

Not high end but good for the price (when on sale). May be good as a backup to have on hand as well.
Mid end pump. I installed this 6 months ago and it is still going strong . I did add the Pump Protect box for protecting this pump so I hope that's a good insurance for it's longevity. At the price it was on sale I bought another to have on hand for a backup to have ready for a quick swap out if/when the time comes. As you know your pump goes out whenever it does and you may want to be able to address it with a backup and not have to shop around or find one available locally if you can. At $250 it was a no brainer. They now cost north of $550. Plan ahead. Drop list the size you need and get one on sale!

Pentair Simer lasts 100x longer than these.
Pentair Simer was what was in our pump house for over 20 years. But my dad looked up pumps and this one was rated way better than the Simer, so we got it instead. After 2 months of use, it died. The return date was already gone (30 days) so I looked up the warranty and it didn't look like it was even possible to replace. So we went to Menards and bought one, we figured at least if it didn't work like this one didn't we had a little more time to replace it. The year warranty is a joke, you can't get it replaced when it burns up for no apparent reason. I recommend buying Simer, it has been in over 2 months and it's still working. The last one lasted 20 years.

American made Submersible well pump With top rated American motor !!!
This was the pump I needed for my application. The quality looks very good. It came with the waterproof splice kit!!! (Follow instructions & seal with rubber tape)Not indicated in the description!!! The wires were long and stripped properly and sealed in the pump motor. I added a 3rd wire (green) for the ground and wound it in with my two conductor #12 twisted wire well cable. The pump works well and delivers the volume of water indicated. My well is approx. 100 ft deep and the pump is approx. 50 ft down. submerged 20 to 25 ft into the water. I used 1 1/4 to 1" Stainless reducer 1" poly pipe ( heat poly with a heat gun)and 3 stainless USA clamps top and bottom. I have had it in for only a couple of months!! My first and only pump lasted over 35 years. Maintaining the pressure switch reverse flow check valve and and the air tank in top condition is the secret to pump longevity. Do not use a pump with a required control box!!! The control boxes fail from corrosion , component failure and lightning. I do not use well water during lightning storms. When the pump reaches cut out pressure all power is disconnected by the pressure switch saving the pump in case of lightning strike. So far so good!!! ONLY TIME WILL TELL!!

1.5 years in, no problems at all
This replaced a jet pump fir a well about 50 feet deep. Lowered it to about forty feet (water level was about 23 feet) and it gives good solid pressure to my system.
