Very Versatile, especially for blending!
I love all the sculpey clays, I just wish more of the accent clays were available in 8oz. or 16oz. sizes for larger projects. The White Pearl is a really nice, more economical way to get the pearl sheen in some of the standard solid colors. For example I recently blended it with: Sculpey Premo Art Clay, Ultramarine Blue Hue to give the blue a bit of a pearl sheen, and make it a bit lighter. I only used a small portion of the white pearl because I didn't want to lighten the blue too much.If you've never blended clay colors before you'll have to experiment with the amounts a bit in order to get the desired results, but it's well worth it when you can make pearl colors you can't otherwise get that way or can only get in 2oz. blocks.

Needs A Lot of Softening Fluid
The end product is just gorgeous but there was a lot of sweat, swearing, and tears to get it to work. Incredibly crumbly. I had to use a ton of clay softener and run it through the pasta machine so many times that I almost gave up on it. However, a few nights a week with some help from others, it finally was softened to a useable point. After baking, it's gorgeous and shimmering silver white, not quite glittery, not quite metallic. It's very eye-catching and I'm very glad to have used it, but start your project in advance if you intend to use this.

Crumbly & Impossible to Condition
I'm sad to say that my Sculpey Premo arrived unusable. I've tried using clay soften and it only helps a little, the clay is still impossible to work with. I've heard people advise to avoid buying clay online, and this purchase was in line with that, it is likely very old and had dried out.

Very disappointed, impossible to condition
I'm fairly new to polymer clay but the other 7 or 8 colors I have conditioned beautifully. Not so this Pearl. I've resorted to adding about a 1/3rd translucent before it stops crumbling.

Unworkable-rock hard- needs to be conditioned
normally sculpey clay gets this hard when it is old or left out.It isn't workable without conditioning it by adding oil- even then it is giving me a hard time and taking way longer than if the clay was how it should be when bought new.

great value
My clay was in good condition, normal time to condition it. I love having a pound of it, I often use pearl rather than normal white, especially at this price.

Love the colors you can make with this
Love using it not only with other colors but by its self. Easy to use once conditioned and really adds a lot to your clay.

Not sure if it was old clay or what , but very hard . Think I sprained my thumb trying to work with it

You just can’t beat Premo.
You just can’t beat Premo. I use some other brands too but I always use Premo for the main body of what I’m making. It’s consistency makes it perfect for handling and moulding

Love this stuff!
Received as stated so thank you for your excellent service. I used this for Mothers Day presents to make thumb print key rings for my parent and toddler groups. I made 30 2.5 cm X 3mm thick heart shapes and still had just under half left. The pearl colouring was perfect and it was really easy to use/bake. Had lots of happy mums, so would really recommend this product and the company.

Muy dura
Es super dura! No se que pasó, si esta muy vieja o qué porque he comprado otras arcillas de sculpey y son buenísimas. Fue imposible de usar.
