CAT LOVES IT + IT WORKS = HAPPY CAT = HAPPY PARENTS
The media could not be loaded. Gracie loves this stuff SO much, she actually considers it a “treat!” For the past 10 years she’s been getting a 1” ribbon of the Malt flavor almost every day. The best you can buy for long-haired cats prone to furballs / constipation. We couldn’t stand to hear her in pain — yowling loudly before throwing-up furballs, wailing in the night when it was too painful (constipation) to use the litter box. I’d cry, wishing there was something we could do to help ease our little girl’s pain. So we went to the vet, and he specifically recommended Petromalt. That day changed our lives forever. Not only did Gracie find a new “treat” that day, but that treat has gone on to prevent and/or relieve 90-95% of the furballs/constipation Gracie had been experiencing on a regular basis.HOW TO FEED: In the beginning we tried the gel-on-paw method, and she’d get really mad at us (dirtying-up her paw with thick goo). So I put a little bit on the side of my finger and … it was love, she lapped it up!!! I later switched to using the bottom of a plastic 1/4 cup - it’s non-stick, easy to clean, and it allowed me to elongate the 1” ribbons [as seen in attached VIDEO]. After squeezing the 1” portion, I’d go back and make it longer/thinner so it’d be easier for her to eat (since it’s kinda thick). We tried many different brands over the years, just to try them, but newer was never any better. Gracie simply LOVES the taste of this stuff, and it’s the only brand that’s been RELIABLE in keeping furballs and/or constipation in-check. She loves it + it works = happy cat = happy pet parents :-)

Product is fine, tube is problematic.
I find these products are all about the same so I buy whatever is the best price. Last time purchasing, got this one. My previous cat would fling it off her paw and it would land on the drapes or something. So with my current cat, I mix some into her lickable treat, which I always serve in a small dish. That seems to work the best. I stir it in with a wooden stick but it's easier if you microwave it for a few seconds. My big COMPLAINT is the tubes that are used for this product. It's difficult to judge how much is left in the tube so I always keep a spare one on hand. You can't roll up the bottom like a toothpaste tube. .......if I squeezed it with a plastic clip on the end, it flew off. I'm now using a heavy metal clip on the end. I wish they'd make it like a toothpaste tube.

Can be remedy for diarrhea and inappetence
If you have cat(s) then this product is a must have. My cats refuse other brands of hairball remedy but they enjoy Sentry Petromalt. It effectively clears their intestinal tract of hairball and bits and pieces of dust and whatnot. This is not just to keep them from throwing up hairballs but it can be an effective remedy for your cat's diarrhea and inappetence. I know this to be true:There was a period when I had forgotten to give them this hairball remedy. During this time one of my cats began to refuse food or ate only small portions of his meal. After days of this I realized I had forgotten to give him petromalt. After giving this to him 2-3x a day for a couple of days, his appetite returned and he ate everything in his bowl. This happened a second time when I forgot to give my cats petromalt for a long period of time (like a few months). My other cat began to have diarrhea, sometimes with blood in it, and he refused a couple of meals. Again it dawned on me I had forgotten to give my cats petromalt. Just like last time, after giving him petromalt 3x a day for a couple of days, his diarrhea cleared up and his appetite returned. (Please note in a normal situation, you would give your cat about 1-2 inches of hairball remedy twice a week.)Clearly in both cases there was a blockage in my cat's intestinal tract that caused the inappetence and diarrhea (which can also cause vomiting) and the petromalt helped to clear it up. I highly recommend you try this product as a hairball remedy and a possible remedy for symptoms I described here. Of course if it doesn't clear up please take your cat to the vet in case of an emergency.

It’s okay.
Very runny compared to others I’ve tried. My cat is OK with it. Sometimes, it is a struggle to get him to eat it.The only reason I bought this, was because I can’t find chicken flavor anywhere anymore. Does it not make sense to make a chicken flavored hairball remedy? My cat used to think hairball remedy was a treat, when it was chicken flavored. It does reduce hairballs.

On my fourth cat that loves it! Works!
On my 4th cat who loves this stuff! I squeeze about an inch on my clean finger. Just adopted a new cat. She started having the hairball cough, then she threw up her food. Figured I'd try this as it worked on my last 3. Took her a minute as she's pretty timid but she ate it up! Worth a shot as it's pretty inexpensive. If your cat doesn't take to it off your finger, maybe try another way to give it to them. Maybe off a spoon, or on the side of their bowl. Stuff works! Try it!

The best flavor ever made. Cats love it.
My long hair cat needs this and these with the Malt flavor are the only ones I can get my cat to eat right out of the tube. She thinks it a treat. I used to have to wipe in on thier legs to get them to take it. Works great and no problem getting her to take it.

My big cat has major fur balls
I picked this item because it was more expensive so I thought it would be better. I’d get more for my money because I have two cats. When I received it I put a little dot on my finger. My little female ran from it. She would not even try it she was scared of it. She didn’t like the smell. My mail thought I was gonna attack them with it or something. He smelt it and almost ran away too right away they don’t like the smell. They wouldn’t even try the taste. My male cat is a gold he’s huge and he’s got long long fur so I need to find another brand that works real well. Years ago I used to have another cat and I bought stuff and they went crazy over it, but I don’t remember what it was called.
