Linnea Quigley Grindhouse Triple Feature: (Deadly Embrace / Nightmare Sisters / Murder Weapon)

A good movie worth seeing again, I liked it.

Picture quality isn't the best, but its Linnea and that is enough.

film quality could have been a little better

a bit too campy but good.

Linnea is by far my favorite "B" movie/Scream Queen actress. Her great physical beauty is wonderfully counterpointed by her consistent character presentation as a naive, impulsive young girl. You can believe that she would enter a haunted, ominous, creepy old house and immediately want to strip and take a shower. Jennifer Aniston or Jessica Biel could never pull that off.

Three 80 minute movies(time approx). Bad stories. Bad acting, especially in Nightmare Sisters. T and A, but that is what Grindhouse is all about. The same production crew were in the 3 different movies. Music by Casio. Bottom line: Save your money, rent it if you must.

I would have recommended more but the third movie which looked the best cuts away just after the beginning. Run out of DVD space?

I hadn't heard of Linnea Quigley until I saw her in Witchtrap on Amazon Prime. As i enjoyed that movie I decided to get some of her other movies. This seemed like a good collection. Unfortunately, Murder Weapon has a glitch in it. Sometimes I'm not the brightest person and I purchased 'The best of the 80's Scream Queens' only to find the same 3 movies on it. However, the quality of the movies on the '80's Scream Queens' set is vastly superior to the Grindhouse set that I'm glad I made the mistake.

This triple feature on one side of a DVD is playable in U.K.machines.I maybe the last person to know that these were David DeCoteau movies,directed under an assumed name.This gets 5 stars from me as each film comes with a commentary with the director & star/co producer Linnea Quigley.Also a lesson in how to make movies in 4 - 7 days.If you enjoy the scream queen in her glory days i.e.topless along with Brinke Stevens & Michelle Bauer and others,then this is one for the collection at an equally attractive price.Great value for money.

Buy this for the commentary track on each of the three films,because as individual flicks they are Awful,but the stories behind their creation are great.
