With its unbelievably low price, this beautiful linen pillow cover could grace the home of any history buff, world traveler, or Francophile. The cloth quality seems of average durability, but the printed map is perfectly straight and sharp. Since this item arrives vacuum-packed and folded, you will need to press the cover with a warm iron to remove the creases before placing the pillow insert inside.The only evidence of the cover's low price is the flimsy, cheap zipper, which will not take much wear-and-tear; I gingerly zipped the cover shut after placing the pillow insert inside. Perched on my sofa, it looks lovely with my living room decor, complementing the framed antique maps on my walls.

These were surprisingly nice. There are some truly awful throw pillow covers among the current crop of Chinese covers that are of this same 18" burlap tan base from various sellers. However, this one is the exception and is actually attractive and worth the money, as well as good enough to display on a couch or chair without it screaming "cheap Chinese". To the contrary, the map design is crystal clear, accurate and legible. Yes, the color of the ocean is a greenish-blue, but it looks okay with the overall sepia tone motif. It would be a nice gift for any Francophile.

One of the nicest aspects of this pillow cover is the fact that the colors are muted and will work with practically any color scheme. We have placed them on a burgundy/red sofa and they blend nicely. But, another room has an off white sofa and it looks good there, too.They look sophisticated and a "map" is always intesting to study. The quality appears good and I'm happy with them.The only note I'd add is that the zipper doesn't extend the full length of the iPod cover. So, heeding advice I bought a 20 x 20 insert for this 18 x 18 cover. It's a very tight fit, hard to get in and stuffed looking afterward. I may substitute the 18 x18 size insert for a smoother look.

Looks like pics. Good, ...just on rougher side, like a canvas material, which I expected, so not disappointed. Just wish they'd Make on a softer fabric.

We received these the other day. I immediately threw them in the washer and dried them, stuffed them and put them on the couch. (I ordered two). They are a very nice material that feels like it will hold up over time and some light abuse. They have more of a green tinge to the color than in the picture and the back is a beige that is textured like the rest of the pillow. The zipper is concealed pretty well at the bottom. The price is a steal for these covers.

Bought this to go with two other antique map pillows in my living room. The fabric is sturdy and the construction is strong and well-made. The zipper doesn't show when the pillow is inside. I gave it four instead of five stars because the picture shows a tan background and the case I received is a definite green.

When I purchase things like this, I am wanting it to last my lifetime. I am tired of purchasing cheap junk that falls apart, and having to spend more money on time finding something else - cheap junk is everywhere. This pillow cover is VERY high quality, beautiful, unique, elegant and brings my husband's study room together with all of its different colors and theme. The zipper is well placed and I know it is durable. Exceeded my expectations and it will pay for itself over and over. Thanks Claybox.

If I had read the description properly I would have realized I was getting just the case, not a pillow as well.. :) Oh well. After I got over that I found some stuffing for it and absolutely love it. My husband and I wanted a world travel/1920's theme for our living room and this adds so much to it! I've gotten compliments on it already and haven't even had it for a week yet! Well-made and zipper is hidden, which was nice.
