This is a solid blade, fit and finish was not the best, grind also slightly off on the spine of the blade. Came razor sharp out of the box but the edge was dinged up a bit. Probably should be 3 stars but i just like the blade despite its imperfections. Feels good in hand, if your thinking about a purchase I would go for it.

It's a nice 1/8" thick blade with beautiful wood scales.The sheepsfoot blade is 2 3/8 inches long, hollowground, and sharp. The edge is straight but 1" wide so that you can cut rope on a flat surface without having your knuckles get in the way. I can't identify the type of steel or where it was made because there is no stamp on the blade. The two large screws are hollow and can be used to add a lanyard. The action is smooth and the overall feel solid.The knife does not come with a sheath, and one is not available for sale. Friction folders should never be carried in your pocket, and if you plan to carry it, you'll have to buy a sheath or make one. I use a canvas belt sheath made for a small Myerchin folder - perfect fit (the #8 Opinel leather sheath is too narrow).It's a good quality product at a great price. Mine was promptly shipped from Thailand and delivered in about two weeks.

Just an absolutely awesome friction folder. I love the sheepsfoot blade. Perfect for just about any cutting task. The price is reasonable and the construction and blade steel excellent! For a great little pocket carry, get it!!

I ordered one to begin with.This is a super fine instrument.I have ordered another and will follow up and give them as presents this holiday seasonIF I had to be in survival conditions this knife would stand up to hard use.I just received a handmade friction folder from a top rated US knife maker-------it is no better than this one which,I think, makes for a bargain.Life is good!
