Hefty Trash Compactor Bags 18 GAL - 5 CT

When I bought the telescope it came with this kind of bag over the top. It took a while to figure out what kind of bag this was until I stumbled on to trash compactor bags.Although expensive each of the five last about a year traveling around until they catch too many times on the pointy bits of focuser and handle screws and finder bits.

Hefty Trash Compactor Bags 18 GAL - 5 CT: I use these as ultra heavy duty waterproof storage bags in my garage. They're perfect for the purpose. But the price has gone from $8.69 to $27.87. It's unlikely that I'll buy more.

I have a 40L backpack for hiking. I used it on an 8-day LASH of the Appalachian Trail. It worked perfectly - waterproof protection for the contents, easy to use, and since it is white, it was easy to see inside the back and get what I needed out of it without having to unload everything.

Seemed a bit pricey, but I bought these bags to go into my backpacking bag. They are sturdy enough to shove in your sleeping bag and other items you want to keep dry, over and over without the bag ripping or getting stretched out. I’ve used one bag on multiple trips. The bag is the perfect size for my 60liter bag.

5$ a garbage bag is crazyI won’t make that mistake again

It would be nice to have a better way to attach the bag to the compactor

Use them to line my backpack to keep my sleeping bag and extra clothes from getting wet. They are 18 gallons (about 68 l) plenty big to fit your bag and clothes.

Bought these as rucksack liners. Nice and light so easy to see stuff. Add sticky Velcro and you have a sealable liner

Perfect for use as a pack liner, durable. Hard to find these in Canada.

strong and fit well. I wish they had holes in the sides to lock onto the compactor. Would like to see more in a package too.
