Purchased this to hold patio furniture covers for two loveseats and an umbrella. More than enough room to drop them in without much folding. Assembly is not without its quirks but about ten minutes or less and this was together. The bottom piece needs to be placed properly so the sides snap in; some had an issue with this but careful observation will show the protrusions over which the sides snap. Once that's done the back and front are easy. 4 screws hold each of the the hinges on and I think the screws will strip if tightened too much, so caution is suggested when tightening. That is the bane with most plastics and screws. Threaded metal inserts would have been a better construction choice since the hinges are metal anyway.The top had a crack on one side and was separating on the other. A call to Keter promptly had a new top on the way; excellent customer service. I can't fault manufacturing for the damage as the box is pretty hefty and as always gets the hard treatment from UPS or whomever, so who knows why it was cracked.This has a large FLAT top so it can be used to hold just about anything. All in all a nice addition to the patio.Update: Received the new top from Keter in record time and the box is perfect. Wish every company had customer service like this!

I got this as a place for the mailman to hide packages, but the size of it also allows me to have some gardening materials in it as well (big bag of dirt and a small shovel). I can also use the top as either a seat, a work bench, or a deck table.Those concerned about water getting in shouldn't. Here in Kansas we recently have been flooded with rain (about 2 weeks of near constant rain with anything from a drizzle to a down pour). My place didn't get flooded out like some of the others around me, but I had this clicked shut sitting outside through the majority of it. When I opened it to grab somethings it was dry as a bone, the few little drops of water that got in were from when I opened it and the lid was wet.Construction was pretty easy and straight forward, I struggled a little to get the sides to pop together but overall not bad and didn't take too long. Only tool you will need is a screwdriver for the hinge on for the lid. I constructed it inside and it was light enough to easily move outside and rearrange on the deck when wanted.It was bigger than I was originally planning, but it turned out quite useful for me and I'm satisfied thus far.

I purchased two of these boxes to store the cushions from my fire pit patio set. They were the only ones I found that would accommodate the four large (24"x24") bottom cushions and four back cushions - everything else I found was too small unless I went with one massive box and I didn't want to do that. The assembly was very easy, the boxes are sturdy and they worked perfectly for my cushions. Nothing else will fit in there, but that's fine with me. I was able to get three of the bottom cushions and one back cushion in one box and the remaining bottom cushion and three back cushions in the other. Oh and the box snaps shut too! Which is an extremely helpful feature as otherwise the cushions would be bulging. The fact that they can also double as a seat or a small table is a definite plus! If you're looking for attractive outdoor storage and don't want/need a huge 100+ gallon container, these are for you!

This Keter Wood-Look 55 Gallon All-Weather Garden Patio Storage Cube arrived on-time, with no damage to the packaging, so shipping was great by Amazon and the Seller. All the parts were there and I had it put together on my living room carpet in about half an hour. It looked good and seemed sturdy enough, so I carried it out to the patio and promptly attempted to open it to place my patio cushions inside - I'll be darned if I couldn't figure out which side was the "hinge" side and which was the "lid lift" side. Every side looked the same and the hinges are hidden in the interior of the cube.I really had to puzzle out the hinge design, and I struggled to ensure I could get it open without damaging the plastic - the seal was darn tight! Now that I have it identified and marked, it would have been nice to include in the design a finger pull area under the lid rim to help open the cube without all the drama. I'm fortunate to be familiar with technical designs, and my caution payed off with no damage to the structure or finish while fussing with it on the concrete patio, but my frustration level was not pretty. For now, the seal is keeping patio cushions dry, with no leaks as yet. I hope it winters well, does not allow the growth of mildew or let in pests, and that the color of the cube does not fade too much in the sun. We shall see... updates to come as it is in use through out this upcoming year.

I've got this out at my property storing some "high value" stuff that I haven't had time to mess with yet. It's kept an 80 dollar queen size mattress heating pad completely dry and mold proof for about a year now. It's VERY water/bug/mice/whatever proof. But make sure it closes all the way. It's a bit of a pain to open (I squeeze my legs on both sides to keep it in place and lift the lid). but that means it definitely closes tightly - just make sure you push it all the way down. It's had soaked fabric, rusty nails, and other "harmful" things sit on top of it for weeks/months on end. but it all just wipes off and doesn't look any worse for the wear. Seems very well made. Definitely seals things up well. and I'm pretty happy with the purchase. It certainly stores things much better than a rubbermaid storage bench and another cheapish storage bin.
