I use Musher’s Secret on my Belgian Malinois’s paws, and it works wonders! She’s super active and spends a lot of time running through orchards, so her paws get a lot of wear and tear. This wax protects her pads from rough surfaces and keeps them soft and healthy.It’s easy to apply and stays on well, even after long play sessions. I feel confident knowing her paws are protected no matter how tough the terrain. Definitely recommend this for any active dog! I also took her to the snow and it helped the ice stay off her paws.

My Cavalier King Charles loves to go on walks, but his paws had become cracked, dry and painful. After reading the reviews I thought Musher’s Secret Dog Paw Wax was worth a try. It’s been an awesome products on multiple levels. I’ve been putting it on two to three times a day and have noticed a dramatic improvement in his paws. It moisturizers, heals the cracks, and must feel good as my dog lies quietly on his back when I massage it in. True to the reviews, the wax leaves no residue on the floor, including both the wood and tile floors. I’m so glad I’ll have it in my arsenal to deal with the 100+ heat in the summer months. It’s a great product that I’m glad to have purchased.

Purchased this in December 2015 to use on my schnauzer/terrier mix through the Chicago winter. We tried on various dog shoes including the rubber/rubber-alternative deflated balloon kind at the pet store but she'd either rip the boots off or it was an awkward fit. After this experience someone recommended musher's paw wax. My order came within a day or two.The wax is rich, which is great, because a dog's paws may be tough but can be hurt and/or irritated by all sorts of materials, textures, and chemicals found on the ground. I knew the significant amount of salt poured atop Chicago's snow would cause a reaction for my dog's sensitive paws especially with her allergies. Thankfully the protection wax can act as a barrier to keep harsh surfaces and chemicals at bay. However since it's essentially a lotion the wax will trap salt particles, small rocks and pieces of dirt, so as the directions note, be sure to thoroughly clean it off your dog's paws after coming back inside! The wax does seem to moisturize beyond just for protecting against surfaces & cold winter weather, so after using a towelette or wet wipe to clean the pads as well as in between, I would add a thin lightweight layer atop clean paws to help my dog stay moisturized.Now in LA I have used it several times when my dog and I go outdoors with weather over 70-75, especially with greater sun exposure. Her paws become inflamed in the LA heat and this wax has prevented that on several occasions. I have not used the product when walking on dirt trails or for prolonged periods of time, but I'd worry that the wax would collect too many small material like rocks and pieces of bark/wood chips on my dog's paws if we were to hike or go to a forest, so of course this wax is not going to be as dependable or protective as a sturdy dog boot. but certainly recommended nonetheless.Good price, rich texture so the product goes a long way and has a good shelf life, seeing as it's now April and perhaps only 1/5th of the container contents have been used. Love this stuff! Smells good too. Works so well on my pups paws. Will but again.

I was skeptical. There's a lot of hokey pet products these days. But this stuff is awesome. My 10lb Pomeranian is an indoor dog, so being on cement or outdoors is "ruff" on his paws. He started getting callouses, dry pads, and minor cracks. One time to the point where he would walk around the house and all of a sudden jump/flinch and immediately drop to lick his paw pad. Upon inspection, he had a small crack.I got this and incorporated it into his bed routine. He's half asleep, so less inclined to lick it off. In a few days it was much better visibly, and also noticed be stopped flinching and licking his paw pad.I like that it's not toxic in case the dog licks it and smells like Vic's vapor rub for humans lol. This size works well for our dog and the thickness of the cream makes me feel like we're wasting product by going through it each time we use it.

This stuff is truly amazing, my little dog has allergies to grass, her paws were bring red and she was licking them all the time. Day two her paws aren’t so red, every day her paws get better and better..This is the best stuff.. I put this cream on her paws every day. She doesn’t lick her paws all the time. She’s relaxing.. I recommend this cream for any animal..

This is an exceptional salve for dog paws! I have tried different brands, many of them had strong fragrances, and my dog was intent on licking them off. This salve has a very faint fragrance. I put it on at night and I have to say that after using it for two nights my dog‘s paws are 50% softer! She had very dry pads. I had been giving her omega oils, hoping that would help, and it hasn’t. Musher’s is easy to apply and does not leave oily marks on the floor or furniture. Great value for the money!
