Not...
Broke the first time I tried to use it, Snapped at the joint when I was opening a paper package. If you just want to say you have a ceramic knife, then buy this but if you want to use it, buy something else.Update: While I was not happy with this particular product, I was extremely impressed by the return policy and the alacrity the company showed in taking care of my return. Schrade has always made excellent products and appear to stand behind their equipment. Kudos to them.

Useful lightweight Knife
I used this as an every day pocket knife for about 1.5 yrs. It is small and light, and sharp out of the box. I realize the limitations of ceramic blades so I was cautious trying not to damage the blade by prying etc.. It served me well for most light duty cutting ie. opening packages, cutting twine, etc.It developed a few nicks in the blade over the time in use even with caution. The Blade finally broke as i was cutting a 1/2 inch piece of nylon rope, I believe the blade to have a weakness caused by the cutout in the blade. Overall, although I wish it had not broken, It was a good light knife for the price. I will consider replacing it with the same.

If you're looking for a good non-metallic knife...
...this is NOT it. It's a good, well make knife. However, the locking mechanism is metal. So basically there's a small metal piece below the carbon fiber on one side that runs the length of knife. So if you're looking for something for personal protection that won't be picked up by a metal detector, look elsewhere.

This is a good knife with a nice ceramic blade
This is a good knife with a nice ceramic blade. I deducted one star because the carbon fiber (yes, it's real) was a bit rough on one edge. Still pretty good finish and insanely lightweight. I see some complaints about the blade chipping or breaking but that is the nature of a ceramic blade. This is not meant to be used as a pry bar. Use a ceramic blade for cutting food or where you need a razor sharp edge. Use a metal blade for more forceful applications.

Nice super sharp little ceramic knife. Great for small to medium duty jobs...
Nice super sharp little ceramic knife. Great for small to medium duty jobs but wouldn't use it for heavy jobs. Small enough for daily carry, is waterproof, and the blade can never rust.

Cool little knife
Cool little knife. Very sharp and great for cutting but don't use it as a tool because it will probably shatter, kill your loved ones, and break all the windows in your house after ripping apart your front door and possibly killing your neighbors. Carbon fiber handle is excellent, and if you buy this knife for what it is then it's a very good deal.

Dreadful
Blunts very quickly just cutting fruit.

Otherwise the rest of the knife is fine.
The pocket clip is ridiculous. It's almost 50% again the width of the knife and seems to be most of the weight. It's attached using tiny little torx drivers; I used a dremel and just cut the main body of the pocket clip off. Otherwise the rest of the knife is fine.
