Yes, their instructions are quite vague. Optional First Step: heat the pot (which you are going to brew the tea) with hot water. Let this sit briefly to heat up the pot (1 minute is fine) then pour out the water you used to heat the pot. This is done just to heat the pot, not tea involved. Note that this step is more important if you are using a clay, porcelain, glass or metal pot to brew your tea. Second Step: Boil water then wait until temperature drops to 170 to 185 Fahrenheit (76 to 85 C). Third Step: Add tea to pot, then pour your water over tea to steep. Fourth Step: Steep tea between 1 and 4 minutes. Pull tea bag out. Their tea is quality enough you can usually get 3 different steepings from 1 bag. Note: You can try different temperatures (between 170 and 185) and different steep times (between 1 and 4 minutes) to see where you like your tea. I prefer mine steeped closer to 175 for 2 minutes on the first steep then 170 for 1 minute for the next two steepings.

Each silk satchel of tea contains true loose leave tea. Each satchel is designed to make 2 cups of tea, so I think it would be great for a ladies afternoon of tea where the tea is steeped in tea pots.

Are the sachets individually wrapped?

The seeds are in individual sachets, but the sachets are not covered with any type of wrapping like foil or sealed.

amazing tea

i bought this blend but I wasn't sure if I would like it. I gave up coffee and decided that I would try tea in the morning because I still needed the caffiene. The smell of this tea is amazing. I add a little sugar free caramel syrup to it and a splash of sweet cream creamer and it's amazing. I haven't missed my coffee at all. I love this tea company because their teas are exceptional. I also love the brewing of the satchels compared to the tea bags. It feels like a stronger tea and much more flavorful over the tea bags. Highly reccomend.

AMAZING!! Smells very pleasant and tastes great!

Obsessed!!! Honestly only recently getting into tea and after a week of drinking this I am OBSESSED. Honestly probably my new favorite! It has a pretty strong flavor if that’s what’s you prefer and it smells AMAZING I have to take a nice lil whiff when I open it. It has a bit of a floral but fruity kind of scent to it and flavor to match. I’ll definitely keep drinking this till I’m sick of it.

Subtle, Strong, and Altogether Pleasing :)

I've debated purchasing this tea selection for some time. It's very well rated, but the tea company I order from primarily sells a version I perceive as a copycat and it tastes unpleasant to me. I was afraid theirs was a very close copy and I might not enjoy this one. However, I don't think the tea base of this one is the same (a low quality black tea of Ceylon origin) and the flavoring here is more subtle with all the tastes melding nicely. Harney's Paris is mellow yet strong. I like it so much better!!! I'd probably give it 4.7 stars but rounded up.

Love the tea if you are a light tea taste drinker.

This if for the ones who love soft/non bold tea. Flavor is nice but not strong. The price is great and the size is great for a person that does not drink it daily. Would be great for travel and I love the little tin. Can be used for other tea container in the future or to decorate with. Not much of a sugar taste either giving you a change to sweeten if needed. The container again functions well and I wll be using it again. The tea blends well and quickly in hot water.

Very smooth tea

Our son actually bought this tea and knowing I love hot tea shared a couple of packets with me. It is a beautiful, not bitter, smooth tea. I told him you need to be able to sit and savor it. I loved it & suggested it would make a great Christmas gift!

PRETTY GOOD STUFF

This was the first time ordering this particular tea. Liked it a lot. Don't know exactly how to describe the taste (not a HUGE tea drinker) but it has a very high quality sort of tase. Something like you might find at a nice European restaurant. So, yeah I'll buy it again. Billy Bob gives 12 thumbs up! Says buy two. One fer you and one fer sister Sue. :)

A delightfully exquisite tea!

Oh my gosh - this is the most delightful and delicious hot tea I’ve ever tasted! I love all Harney & Sons tea sachets, but when I first discovered the “Paris” blend at World Market, it immediately took the #1 spot! The product is kept fresh in its metal tin, and has as much caffeine as one cup of coffee. I follow the instructions of 212 degree (boiling) water and 5 minutes of steeping; however, I do so in my 20oz Stanley tumbler, filled to the top. I find this combination makes my desired strength for this tea.
