Very effective!
For my particular use, this product performed exceptionally well. Computer servers for my work at home are located in the room where I spend 90% of my waking hours. In the winter time, this seperately heated room has had amazing efficiency in making the waste heat from these devices useful. In the summer, i relocate the sevices to an unheated/cooled room on the other side of the wall where they lower the temp of the devicce. Again, for me, this product has been an wild success.

I got tired of the shut downs, installed two Heat sinks, I used a good thermal glue, two fans works perfectly.

great for automotive anti-hyperflash LED load resistors
These work really well for the hot running load resistors used when retro-fitting LED lamps for incandescent ones in automotive applications. Usually you need these to stop hyper-flashing in vehicles that are in that awkward "too new to simply replace the turn signal relay," but not new enough or the computer can't be re-configured to turn off hyper-flashing if it can't "detect" a bulb.Generally you're supposed to mount the resistors to metal surface to dissipate heat - but often there isn't a good place. The load resistors get hot enough to discolor paint, plus self tapping screws to the inside of a body panel are probably not the aesthetic you're going for unless you like burning hot screw spikes protruding from your car.So these heatsinks will do the trick if you at least have some open space elsewhere (say a trunk or open area under the hood behind your running lights) but it's awkward or there just isn't a way to get mounted to a hidden frame rail or something.

Sturdy!
These heatsinks are solidly constructed and are just the correct size for smaller projects, like a pair of 2N3055 power transistors (see picture attached).

Fit most NVME External Drives
stick this to my external NVME enclosure and keep the drive cool. The finish can be better and the heatsink I received is dented, doesn't affect the performance though.
