Q: Does it work in old houses with thick walls?

The thick walls will reduce the working range, but I think this product is very usefull for calling someone.

Q: how do you fix the lanyard into the pendant

I have put the very thin loop around the plastic "tongue" in one of the depressions. I found that the black clip was too big to put in the hole at the other side.
