I have a serious lip problem. Like when I wake up my lips are almost bleeding. For some reason, they can hold no moisture and it actually is very painful. Fortunately, I do have the wherewithal to purchase premium products. I did some research and Esquire Magazine said this stuff was amazing. It was either this or the super expensive Dr. Barbara Sturm lip balm. I narrowed the list down because both products contain Lanolin, which is touted as a miracle moisturizer. I just got the lip balm today and was very anxious to try it because lowkey my lips hurt. Immediately, they were relieved! I got the peach flavor (full disclosure, I'm not really into flavored lip balm b/c I'm a businessman, not a 14 year old girl) but this one is actually tastefully done. I am exceedingly happy with this product, and I'm actually thinking about subscribing to it, which I've only done for one, other product, my L'Occitane Divine Cream. I highly, highly recommend!

I bought the dolce de leche variety--have not tried other varieties.I don't drink enough water, chew my lips and just generally am lacking in the lip-care arena. I have used vaseline (including the vaseline advanced healing small tube) and while those are good, this stuff STICKS--in a good way. It does not come off till I want it to come off. I've put it on at night and woken up in the morning with it still on my lips. Did it take a second to get used to this aspect of it, yes. Is it worth it ten times over, yes.My lips feel great after it, even if I only use it at night for a few days. It gives them the 'reset' that they need.

LOVE it! I ordered both the glazed donut and the raspberry shortcake one and they smell amazing! The glazed donut reminds me more of French toast with the smell but still very pleasant. I like that you don’t need to use a lot of it and that it’s a clear lip balm. For the price, it’s cheaper than summer Fridays and glossier so I will absolutely repurchase this again!

This stuff is AMAZING. But it has got to be the worst applicator I've ever seen. The hole is gigantic and if you live somewhere even remotely warm, be prepared for a glob to shoot out no matter how gently you squeeze. Amazing formula works wonders for dry lip and cracks just wish the tube were designed better.

Edit: had to come back and give it 5 stars… because I left it in my pocket and it went through the washing machine and didn’t open! Clothes stayed clean and lip ointment intact. Impressive packaging.Lanolips 101 is fantastic for keeping my lips moisturized and soft. I normally struggle with chapped lips, but it’s been a non issue since regularly using this. It has a good concentrate scent that certainly smells like a yummy baked good. This is on my repurchase list when this tube is used up. Only down side is the applicator tip.

Finally I found something that actually works to moisturize my dry, cracking lips! I've been through so many different types of chap stick and lip balms, carmex, white petrolium, 'lip repair', burt's bees, and many others, with all of them failing to really hydrate my lips at all, and some of them actually making things worse.This lanolin based stuff, on the other hand, is a godsend! The first couple of days I used it, my lips were just straight soaking it up, and having used it regularly for a couple weeks now (a little goes a long way) they've never been healthier! I even went and bought a 7oz jar of pure lanolin to use on my beard that's also consistently dried out. Wouldn't recommend that for your lips though, as it does smell of sheep. I'll be mixing that with some oils into a balm.If you've tried everything else and it isn't working for you, definitely give this stuff a try! Make sure you test it on a patch of skin first, though, as some people are allergic to it, and when you use it, make sure not to apply too much, otherwise it will feel very slick and a bit sticky. I just use a small bead of it on my fingertip and spread it that way.

A decent product, but too expensive.

Stays on lips for hours, even in the dry heat (I live in Las Vegas)! Watermelon flavor is a nice touch. Such a great alternative to petroleum products.
