Better than hurting fingers.
I have three daughters that play hockey, they are not able to tighten there laces tight enough. I would constantly complain of hurt fingers and my kids look like they had wobbly skates. I purchased this and haven't been happier. Not only is it way faster, I don't have hurt fingers and my kids skates are tight and have improved there game. Defiantly a worth it buy.

that pulling boots up requires 2 hooks, some people may require more length
Product is fine, just not suited for what I intended, they might mention the length of shaft in the description I could not tell how long the shaft was by the picture

Solid piece. Must have!
I use this for rollerblades. It's great for adding that extra bit of tightness. I like the wide handle. It allows for a better grip than other tighteners I've used. It is a thick metal bar which means it's strong but it is sometimes tough to get it under the laces. I find it better to start at the side where there might be a little more space and then move it to the middle.

Possibly works too good
My son used this tool because his mom couldn't tighten his laces tight enough and I wasn't always there. He tightened the laces so tight that he tore the eyelets out of his skates necessitating a trip to the boot shop to replace them. Otherwise good because he gives me a hard time about not always being there to ensure he's ready to skate

Not flimsy, not super robust. Finish is so-so, not "high quality." Does the job but price is too high for what you get.

The lace tightener works, but they could have cut away excess plastic so that it feels smooth in hand when using.

Does what it supposed to do. Handle is comfortable although the grip size is relatively small. The cost could be lower.
