So after our old vacuum died, we decided to get this one because of the flex option. My uncle said it didn't have suction power, but I quickly ran it in one of the bedrooms and we were all surprised by how much dirt and pet hair it picked up! It is light and easy to maneuver around, I love that it is cordless too, and it isn't as loud as other vacuums (though my dog still hates it). I also love that it can come apart, and I used the hand-held part to clean my car, so much better that the clunky, heavy car vacuum that we have that needs an extension cord in order to reach the cars. This vacuum is convenient and awesome! We were skeptical to spend so much on a vacuum, but honestly, I think it's worth it!

I am so happy with my purchase. This thing is light, picks up well on bare floors and low pile carpeting and...CORDLESS! The battery lasts about 20 mins on low setting, plenty of time for me to vacuum my 1500 sq foot home. We have pets, this picks up litter and hair, you will need to clean the beater brush often if your dogs have long hair like mine. I suggest getting into the habit of laying it down on the floor when not holding it, it will easily fall as it is top heavy. I am not a fan of emptying dirt cups, but the trade off of being cordless is so worth it! This was a reconditioned model, it arrived neatly packaged and in great shape. I have been telling everyone I know that this a great vacuum.

I'm going to start by saying I really like this vacuum. For some households that mostly have hardwood or tile it is all the vacuum you may need unless you have pets that shed a lot. If your whole house is carpet I would go with an electric model. This house is all hardwood with the exception of carpet in the bedrooms. We have one medium size dog and this vacuum does fine. I like the fact that it is very quiet for a vacuum cleaner. You can hear people talk with it running, even on the high setting. It is very well designed with the speed system for bare floors and for carpet saving as much battery power as possible. This model came with two batteries which is a must. The batteries have remaining power indicators. I love the way it folds for storage and bends to get under furniture. The LED lights are bright too. It falls short with two areas. One is the size of the dirt cup. It is small and does not hold a lot. If you have shedding pets it will fill quickly. If you don't vacuum often it could fill quickly. That being said though it is very easy to empty the dirt cup. The other area it falls short is the filtration system. Don't get me wrong, nothing flies out of it but the foam filter system will require frequent cleaning. Cleaning the filters is easy too. My suggestion would be to buy extra filters from Amazon (I did). When the foam filter gets dirty, pop it out and replace with a clean one. This way you can continue to use the vacuum while the other filter is drying from your rinsing it out. If you keep the vacuum system clean (which is very easy), you will have no problems. The convenience of this vacuum with no cords to bother with outweighs the maintenance of the unit. If you have a house that needs a deep cleaning with lots of debris I suggest cleaning it first with a larger electric vacuum, then keep it maintained with the Shark cordless vacuum. It is so easy you won't mind pulling it out to clean on an as needed basis. It is an amazing machine. It cleans like a five star rating for a cordless vacuum but because of the smaller dirt cup and the frequent cleaning of the foam filter I consider it not to be perfect, thus the 4 star rating. But that being said it is an amazing cordless vacuum that cleans really good. I definitely recommend it. This unit came with a dusting brush, upholstery brush and a crevice tool. The unit also converts to a wonderful hand held vacuum with the push of a button. Really, really easy to operate and to store when finished using it.UPDATEAfter using this vacuum for over a month I have to say that I will never be without a vacuum like this one again. It is so easy to grab it for a quick clean or regular cleaning. For its size and weight it is a really strong cleaner. It is all the vacuum I need. I have three electrics and I don't use them anymore. The convenience of not dealing with a cord is fantastic. This dual brush model picks up just about everything in its path. Like I said before a larger dirt cup would be nice but I just take it to the garage and suck up the debt with my shop vac. The only new improvement I have seen after this model is the one with the self cleaning brush but this model is still great. If you like to keep pristine floors this makes it so easy to do because you don't dread getting the regular vac out, unwinding the cord, dealing with the cord then rewinding the cord. Just grab it, vacuum and put it up.

I use the vacuum several times a day to quickly clean up the kitchen and dining room after meal prep and meals. I really like the fact that the one motorized head has two bars, a soft one in the front and one with brushes behind it. It works great and I don't have to stop and change any parts when going from hardwood to rugs and back again! Excellent design and function. Also am appreciative of the two batteries so I never run out of power.

I purchased this vacuum in August 2019, I haven't been pleased with the suction of the cup from day 1 but it was something I could deal with, the vacuum constantly got clogged and was just a hassle. Last week it went completely out, motor no longer clicked on. I called Shark and received the worse customer service. She told me they do not have my model in stock and it would take 4-6 weeks to get a replacement. That is unacceptable to me, I did not spend $250 on a vacuum to not be able to use for 4-6 weeks. She then told me I would have to pay to have the replacement shipped to me. I requested to speak to a supervisor multiple times, in which, I was denied because he was busy. I'm supposed to receive a call today but I high doubt that will happen. Decided to count it as a lost and never support Shark again. Went and purchased a Hoover and I am so happy with that vacuum. Will forsure not support Shark and any of there appliances going forward.

Love this vacuum. Gets all the dirt off the floor, and dog hair. Love that 2 batteries come with it. Old vacuum could not get my whole house vacuumed, but this vacuum does the whole house with power to spare on the 1 battery. Also, like the maneuverability. Like how you can take the housing off and use it as a handheld. The power suction gets that pet hair off my couch quickly.

We use this daily since we got a cat. It does a great job on cat litter that gets everywhere despite high sides and a mat. Not as good on cat fur on furniture but we have an upright for that. This is great for tight spaces. Worth it weight in gold as my husband uses it daily, no cord to trip over, fight with

This vacuum works well but it gets clogged easily. It picks up EVERYTHING! Part of the reason it gets clogged so easily. Also, this model does not have the self cleaning brushes and get full of everything. If you have long hair or pets, the brushes have to be cleaned weekly to work well.Other than having to baby this machine, it works well.
