I ordered in the color black and needed for kitchen odds and ends after updating my kitchen drawers. It is well made and 2-inch depth is good as it holds everything I wanted to go inside of it. Price point also plus. This is as expected.

This tray's just perfect and sturdy enough for my office or other storage needs, very pleased.

I will be modifying this to allow attaching it to one of my camera stands (studio version of a tripod) in my photo/video studio. It will be a place to keep the light meter, remote for the motorized backdrops, etc. One came with a metal version of this box (close to the same size) and the other was missing it.

Used these in my son's dorm desk to turn the built in sliding keyboard tray into an organizer for pens, post-it notes, stamps, keys, earbud batteries, command strips, and other school desk supplies. They were there perfect height and width.

It works great for organizing my remote controls for the TV. It fits underneath the TV and in between the legs. So I can access it anytime.

I should have looked closely at the dimensions but....This is tiny! Would only work as an inbox for desk if all you ever put into it was mail in smaller Business envelope form and even then, it's tiny. Too small to hid even a standard 8 x 11 sheet of paper.
