It's built with a plastic layer and a moisturizing, serum-soaked fabric layer (top and bottom). Hands go between the two fabric layers. It's a bit hard to separate the layers.You can actually use your hands with the gloves on! It's weird, but touch screen and small keyboards respond with relative ease.You're told not to rinse afterwards despite your hands being slimy. I'm surprised by how fast it dried though, so no real inconvenience with the whole process.

While these gloves are well constructed they did not work as well as advertised. They smelled good and were a cheaper option. I wore them the first time for an hour and the second time overnight with minimal difference. The edges of my nails are cracked and have hangnails. While my hands were softer the issue with dryness around the edges of my nails was not fully resolved.

This is an excellent product. My hands stayed soft and supple for days after just one application. Product does remain quite wet on your hands after removing gloves but you can just spread on your arms. Has a really nice relaxing scent as well.

Ok, I have bought a few of these hand masks lately as I have very dry cracked, even peeling skin from winter and so much hand washing/cleaning. Before I bought this particular hand mask, I had already bought two other brands from my local drugstore. I like those from the drugstore but these were cheaper and I could get more for my money...well, sadly more for your money is not good quality in this case.First of all, these gloves come together as in one piece. This is how they all are. There is supposed to be a perforated line between the two gloves to easily separate them before you put them on. They come together as one piece I assume to keep all the mask ingredients inside the gloves until you are ready to use. Well, mine did not have any perforated separation. They were difficult to separate and you need scissors. Secondly, the stick tabs to keep the glove tight to your wrist while the solution is doing its job, did not work well at all. The tabs were hard to remove and then once I removed them they actually did not hold in place. I ended up having to put hair ties around my wrists to keep the gloves closed tight. If you leave them open it makes the solution come out and doesn't keep a closed glove around your hand while the ingredients are supposed to be soaking in. Lastly, the smell is pretty unpleasant and I'm wondering what in fact the solution is made up of because my hands did not even feel very moisterised when finished...and I left the gloves on an extra 5 min! Do not waste your money on these gloves. My favorite ones are by Sally Hansen...They worked way better. It is a similar type of product but way better quality in my opinion. Even though the Sally Hansen gloves cost more, I will gladly buy them over these.
