One of my kid's favorite episodes. This is a picture book so some of the storyline has been reduced. Great read over and over!

PreK-2nd grade. This is 24 pages long with two-staple binding. It features SpongeBob, Squidward, Mr. Krabs, Sandy Cheeks, Patrick, and a slew of fast-food owners. Yup, SpongeBob gets canned from the KK and tries the rest of Bikini Bottom's fast-food flair.Quality full-color paper with high-gloss cover.

My nephew LOVES it!!!

I bought this for my spongebob mad 5 year old - he has loads of the spongebob paperback story books and this was another for the collection. The book itself is a good size, paperback and good quality. The illustrations are very typical of a spongebob cartoon - ie after not working for a while spongebob has stubble and looks ragged. Very well illustrated and a few sentences per page.The story is good - Mr Krabs fires SpongeBob to save a nickel and sponge bob is lost without his job. His friends encourage him to look for another job and eventually he does. He works at several fast food places - getting fired at all of them for making the food as patties (hot dog patties, noodle patties, pizza patties). One day he's taken by a giant hot dog and finds himself back at the hot dog place and they wanted him back as the customers really liked what he made and wanted more. He continues to get taken by various people in food costumes from food outlets, all wanting him back as the customers loved his product. They all end up fighting over him and he's taken by a giant krabby patty back to the krusty krab where mr Krabs begs spongebob to come back. Very random story but very typical of spongebob. I watched and loved spongebob as a child and love watching it with my son now. I think this book is great for a fan and is an ideal length for a bed time story.

Bought for a six year old who loved it. Maybe better suited to younger kids, however it's also good for kids learning to read by themselves.
