Quick delivery and fairly priced
Bought for vegan daughter in current lock down. Bought 6 varied pouches. Really tasty she tells me, and delivered in good time. Good value and very happy

Disappointed
Received today and was just thinking these were value for money as the packet bigger than expected and a lot in them. I checked the best date. It was 24 july. Today's date 5 october. Not good enough

Quite firm and dry
These chickpeas are a lot more expensive than a tin (especially considering you get less than you would in a tin, so gram for gram it is about four times the price), and the packaging is less environmentally responsible, considering tins can be recycled really easily and indefinitely. This pouch of chickpeas contains more fibre and protein per gram, but tbh you could just replicate some of that by eating an extra spoonful of tinned chickpeas. These have been cooked in a vegetable broth, which should give them an inherent flavour, but they didn't taste of much to me. The texture was firmer and drier, and while that might make for good falafel, I think it would make worse hummus, where the emphasis should be on smoothness and creaminess. Personally, whenever I eat pulses, I always want them to be soft and creamy. I don't love these and wouldn't buy them again.
