Make sure your expectations are reasonable. You're not buying heavy duty trash bags. If you put anything sharp or heavy in these, they will tear. If you look at them wrong they may tear (ok, not really - they're fine with normal handling). That said, they're inexpensive and lightweight, which is exactly what I wanted.I just wanted small bags to put litter in each day when I scoop the litter boxes - something that would block some of the smell by being individually bagged daily, but that wasn't going to cost me a ton since I was using one a day. The scents on these is a small plus - I won't say they smell fantastic, but it beats cat litter smell. Each day I scoop into one of the 4 gallon bags, tie it, and then toss it in a small can lined with the 8 gallon bag. Once a week I take the 8 gallon bag, tie it off, and toss it in the outside trash. Thus far no problems.

These are actually pretty good. Normally I guy from the family of Glad, but at the time I needed 4-gallon bags, the price of my regular bags had gone up. Now, people are talking about the transparency of the bags. True, they are a little more transparent than a good-quality name-brand, 4-gallon white trash bag, but really not by a lot. Plus the Ruffies have cute colors, and they are scented. Normally I don't use scented bags, but this is for baby wipes, so I welcome the slightly over-whelming scent. My advise is to give them a try and see if you like them. Oh, also, I think they are just as strong as my old bags. But don't count on them being waterproof. I just would not want to experiment.

We do like the size and color, however they do not have a scent, and that was the purpose for buying these, not happy with purchase 👎

We purchased these bags, the size of which are not generally available in the stores in our area, for the sole purpose of the daily litter box cleanings. The fact that they are lightly scented was not necessary, but certainly appreciated. The bags are of good quality, packaged simply, and after using over 100 of them, we've never encountered a problem (despite the fact that they are sometimes weighed down with a substantial amount of kitty litter). We now order them regularly via Amazon. (Actually, to be honest, I should have said that "we have begun hording them via Amazon.")

I too thought I was getting 4 bags. I always read descriptions carefully and usually mock those who don't, but somehow I managed to order these thinking there were 4. Needless to say I returned them, thank goodness for free amazon prime returns. I feel like the description and price may be intentionally misleading.For the bags themselves, I do love them. I use them mostly for dog waste. I have 2 large dogs and these are a good size for them. I would prefer to use something more eco-friendly but I live in an urban area, don't have a yard for my dogs and haven't found any options that are the right size and price. The smell doesn't make them better or worse. On the few times I've used them for my bathroom garbage I don't notice the smell.

Not amazing but they get the job done more or less. I'm disappointed they give you one random smell, and they're a little small for some bins. They also rip pretty easily if you try to stretch it out so don't waste your time. In general though they work great for small bins, say 6-inches across or so. Larger bins, like 10-inches, will not work well. The smell is also very, very light, which may or may not be good, depending on what you want. If you're sensitive to smells, these should be perfect to neutralize small scents. If you're trying to cover something strong up, they wont cut it. For the price though, it's hard to beat.

They are flimsy, but work fine in the bathroom trash cans. I would not recommend them for any sort of "heavy" trash. I gave them four stars instead of five because I do not like the scent of the blue bags I received. I had purchased a pink roll of these bags years ago and the scent was nice. As you do not have a choice of which color you receive, you have to live with whatever you get.
