Great mouse!
I bought this as a little upgrade to my Corsair ironclaw mouse and I love it.Don't get me wrong, there is a couple of things I prefer on the iron claw but they are two different mice so I can't really compare them. This one just feels new, newer tech, better lighting options and a very nice feel. It's has the option to change side plates so you can play around which feels better. This one is more responsive, especially in FPS games and the click on the mouse is so satisfying, you really get to feel it.My only real issue is the battery life, I seem to be charging this every other gaming session where as on the iron claw, that would probably need charging once a month. But again, this isn't a deal breaker and I would highly recommend this to anyone in the market for one

Great mouse for gaming and comfort
Brought to replace a Razer Mamba that was on its way out.Pros:* Comfortable grip and good size* Interchangeable thumb grip* Excellent DPI & Response* Mouse clicks are responsive (as is the mouse wheel)* Good configuration options via the ICUE softwareCons:* Battery life seems to be somewhat lacking compared to the mamba, however, it is rechargeable via USB-C.* ICUE Software can be a bit resource hungry

Great all rounder
More of a palm rather than claw mouse which I usually use but have to say now I am used to it, it's great. If you have ICUE lighting from corsair it works seamlessly and actually has more rgb areas than most mice on the market. You can change the shape of the mouse to suit with adjustable sides and polling rate is fully adjustable.Yes it's expensive but the quality is there. Plus it has the aded bonus of a full suite of connectivity. Wireless via a dongle, bluetooth or fully wired with USB. Personally I can't fault it and would highly recommend the dark core rgb se to anyone

Great mouse, but let down by the scroll wheel
The mouse is precise and comfortable to use. The wireless charging feature is very convenient and I can simply pop the mouse onto a charging pad each night and wake up to a full battery that will last up to 2 days from a full charge. Battery mileage would be better if I turned off the RGB.It's worth noting that this is a gaming mouse with a high DPI and high polling rate. It is not an appropriate comparison for some reviewers to complain that the battery does not last as long as it does in their basic Logitech office mouse.I've noticed that the mouse wheel tends to pick up some debris, which in turn interferes with the scrolling function and can make the mouse scroll upward on occasion while you're trying to scroll down. This can usually be resolved by blowing into the gaps beside the mouse wheel, but it tends to happen again a couple of days later. It's an annoyance and the mouse loses a star for it.On the topic of scrolling, the mouse scrolls quite slowly by default. I recommend going into the windows mouse settings and changing "Choose how many lines to scroll each time" to at least 5. This will speed up scrolling and make the experience far more responsive.

Double Click & Springy Switches
I bought this because my old Dark Core RGB SE under warranty needed repair so I was looking for a new mouse and I didn't want to upgrade. I bought the new Dark Core RGB PRO SE because I discovered a double click problem with the old Dark Core and was wondering if the new suffer from the same problem and it does. I tested also the new Ironclaw Wireless and yes it suffers too.The problem occurs when you assign volume under actions to any button. The pc volume icon on the system tray if you check your pc it usually has 100 levels and your speakers will have 50. Change any button to Volume up & Volume down and on your speakers start on Volume level 1 and the Corsair Mouse if you press what ever button is volume up or down it will jump to 3 or 5 so on the system tray Volume it will jump 4 to 6.After discovering this problem I realised how springy the buttons are. The old Dark Core scroll wheel is excellent - smooth and quiet. The new Dark Core is a bit more tactile and that's OK except scrolling up it's a bit noisy and squeaky a bit like the ASUS ROG Chakram scroll wheel which is very bad, quiet scrolling down but very squeaky when scrolling up.I tested quiet a lot of new Mice to see if they had the double click issue and not one of them did, they all changed the Volume level on my SoundBlasterX Katana one level at a time and watching the sytem tray Volume level it's moving correctly at 2 at a time.I hope Corsair fix this problem so maybe the solution is to change all the switches to optical switches like the Razer Basilisk Ultimate, Razer Viper Ultimate because the forward button is very springy and the up DPI up sounds plastic when the down DPI sounds solid. So some more work needed on the DPI buttons. I like having the DPI buttons so keep those and change them all to optical then this mouse would be 5 Stars.Update: I sent my old Dark Core RGB SE to Corsair under warranty because one of the lights stopped working properly and Corsair replaced to with the New Dark Core RGB PRO SE. Thank you Corsair. So I've upated to 5 Stars.Update: Double Click Fixed. I just checked and Corsair have fixed the double click issue I had with volume levels. Thank you Corsair so this review definitely deserves 5 Stars.
