Extremely disappointed
One of the main reasons I bought this mattress for my daughter was that it stated the item hardness was Soft. The mattress arrived and is actually really nice quality but is absolutely rock hard! The first night my daughter slept on it she cried, it was hurting her to sleep on it. I have had to buy a mattress topper to soften it up for her, but as the mattress is actually slightly wider than a double, the topper does not quite fit on It properly so there is a step either side. The mattress is so hard underneath, the topper does not make a huge amount of difference anyway. I am hugely disappointed, I was trying to make a nice new cosy bedroom for my daughter as a treat for her, her brother is autistic and of course this affects her. I will now have to save up for another mattress. If you like sleeping on a rock hard surface then the mattress would be fine, however this is not what was advertised, and I have a very disappointed little girl.
