Ceramic Yerba Mate Gourd With Emboss Calabash Pattern (Coral With Straw)

I absolutely LOVE this cup and Bombilla. It's a beautiful color and design and makes drinking Yerba so enjoyable. I do agree with other that the cup will get hot, but holding it by the neck is perfect. I wanted a pretty cup to brighten my morning and this works wonderfully.

I have been drinking mate out of gourds for about 8 years. I believed that drinking mate out of a gourd gave it greater flavor. One issue I kept running into was that my gourds, even after learning different curing techniques, continually cracked. I finally decided to purchase a ceramic gourd. This one is perfect for my mate. While it does not have handles like a coffee mug I am able to hold it around the neck to avoid the heat from the water. Its excellent, does not interfere with mate flavor, easy to clean, and does not crack.

Perfect for a beginner matero like myself. After preparing and drinking my mate, i just clear it and put it in the dishwasher. Im still trying to learn how to properly drink and maintain mate in a traditional gourd but while im experimenting and learning this is perfect!

Great mate ceramic gourd!!!!! (I added the metal holder) The ceramic gets hot, before I made the metal holder I grabbed it by the collar and it was ok to hold. Recommended
