It's getting hot in here
Awesome to know the actual temp of my oven. Been using one for over 20 years and recently replaced with this one, works great.

Is Your Oven Accurate? Confirm Oven Accuracy for Better Cooking and Baking!!!
I purchased the Pucula Oven Thermometer (50-300°C/100-600°F) to verify the accuracy of my modern oven's thermostat. While modern ovens are generally reliable, I've always wondered if the indicated preheat temperature truly matched the internal oven temperature, or if there was a slight variance. This analog thermometer has been excellent for providing that insight. I've tested it at various temperatures, including the common 350°F setting, and I've found my oven's thermostat to be quite accurate according to the Pucula thermometer. This is reassuring for consistent baking and roasting. One crucial finding, however, is that while my oven indicates preheating is complete, the Pucula thermometer shows it's beneficial to wait an additional 5 to 10 minutes for the oven to truly stabilize at the target temperature. This extra waiting period ensures a more even heat distribution and prevents temperature fluctuations that could impact sensitive recipes. The thermometer itself is well-built and easy to read. It hangs or stands securely within the oven. For anyone looking to ensure their oven is truly at the temperature they set, or who wants to understand their oven's preheating behavior better, the Pucula Oven Thermometer is a highly recommended and valuable tool. It's a small investment that can significantly improve your cooking and baking results.

Very durable and easy to read.
I'm giving this a five-star rating because it is very well made but I'm just not sure of the accuracy. I had the temperature set and my toaster oven at 275 but the gauge was reading 300 $300 and stayed that way even when I turned the temperature down to about 225. So either my oven is wonky or the item is wonky. I bought this specifically to keep account of the temperature when baking polymer clay which has to be set at a very specific temperature.

Essential for Polymer Clay Crafting
This oven thermometer has been an absolute game-changer for my polymer clay crafting. Ensuring my oven is at the perfect temperature is key to getting my clay properly baked, and this thermometer has made that process so much easier. No more guessing if the oven is too hot or too cold — I can get precise readings, which is crucial for ensuring my pieces bake just right. The thermometer is easy to use, and it provides accurate readings, so I can avoid issues like over-baking or under-baking my clay. It's a simple tool, but definitely essential for anyone working with polymer clay.If you're into clay crafting or baking in general, I highly recommend getting one of these to make sure your projects turn out perfect every time!

i dont know
I dont know if its accurate. used it the other night and my oven seemed off by 20 degrees. However the thermometer needle wouldnt settle back down to room temperature and stayed at 120 degrees F even after resting on the counter all night and morning. I read somewhere that they may have a calibration screw on the back so i got a flathead skrewdriver and poked the brass screw looking thing in the back and it popped the needle indicator down to room temp. hopefully it works from now on and it just needs to be broken in. maybe its just faulty. will update review if it works next time.Update: i tested it at 170 degrees F. the oven thermometer read around 150, i pointed an infrared thermometer at it and it read.....around 150. thermometer cooled down and got stuck again, had to poke it again. will test again next time i bake, hopefully i can make it work. looked at reviews for other oven thermometers and they're all "junk" according to the low reviews so idk.

Accurate Oven Thermometer
I have an old built in oven and the thermometer in it is about 23° off. I hang this under a rack and it does a good job of monitoring the actual temperature inside the oven.
