I am enjoying the story, but the idea that the Kingpin would be intimidated at this stage in his life feels off.

I LOVE Daredevil and he is my favorite superhero by far. Although I do wish that the writer would keep the comic consistent with other outside events in the universe like that of Mark Waid's run. After war of the realms, Daredevil received a new permanent upgrade with these World tree billy clubs given to him by heimdall.I so far have not seen these make an appearance.It be really interesting to see them tho and I had a few ideas of maybe a few special abilities they could give like that of mjolnir.Maybe negating healing factors, or knocking off the heads of like 10 guys, then returning to his hands like mjolnir does. The dude can definitely use the upgrade considering other characters like Deadpool or Blade have a TON of abilities.I have now been writing for too long and there is likely a better place I could be saying this like reddit so goodbye.

The back to basics feel of this story continues and I very much like the direction the book takes. That said, it does feel the slightest bit rushed in this volume and an event hat maybe feels like it should have been. the story of a whole volume happens in about an issue and a half. Some things also get glossed over for the sake of movement. That said, there's some great moments and good Daredevil stuff. A shame Checcheto couldn't do the art for the full arc. And there are some coloring issues between his art and the fill in artist doing the first three issues. But still very good stuff.

Every issue of this series has just been great. The characterizations have been spot on, as have been the interactions between the characters. Matt working to be better and make amends for his actions is well told.

Every once in a while, if you are lucky, you come across a book that transcends the medium. Brubaker did it with Captain America. Alan Moore did it with Swamp Thing. Tom Veitch did it with Star Wars Dark Empire. And, Kurt Busiek (along with Cary Nord's perfect art) did it with Conan The Barbarian.Chip Zdarsky's run with Daredevil is perfect. The characters are great. The stories are great.This will be a long remembered, iconic book.

The first twenty issues could be considered a tv season and this volume is one hell of a finale.;)
