Works great but not sure it would actually fit a 10AWG wire
The tube seems exactly big enough for a 12AWG conductor, but that seems to be what I need and it's holding tight and working well. Make sure you get a real crimper, not a pliers or electricians multi-tool, or the awful thing I got from Harbor Freight the first time.

Marine electronics friend
Connecting small wires in marine electronics is always a problem, especially when compression screw connectors are involved. BY crimping these on the ends of the small wires and using the pin rather than the wire under the compression screw, a much better and more durable connection is maintained.

I bought these to have on reserve for wiring projects.The (admittedly few) crimps I've made with them seem strong and dependable.My sense is that this is a high-quality product which — in the hands of a competent operator with a good crimper — will perform as intended.
