I struggled to find a charger for my Surface Pro 4 after mine stopped working. I had a lot of problems finding one that worked. I ended up purchasing five, only two of which worked. I have used this for many months now and it still works perfectly. No issues at all. I would recommend to anyone.

Does its job nicely

Works great in terms of charging performance. The only thing that is slightly concerning to me is the fact that it gets hot to the touch while charging the Surface Laptop. Not too hot to touch, but beyond "very warm" to the point of crossing over into "hot", but not so hot that it burns, if that makes sense. Would I purchase again? Yes.

To replace the charger I have lost

This has to be one of the WORST items I've purchased on Amazon. The first one stopped working in the first 30 days and the second stopped working right after the return window closed. Shame on me for not reading the reviews of a number of people who voiced the same issues as I had. If someone's charger worked longer than 6 months consider yourself blessed. I got what I paid for, a cheap item that works for a couple weeks.
