This is a good pill splitter. The only thing I have a problem with is that it does not always cut them evenly in half. But I still like it better than the cheaper ones

Waste of money!! Totally unhelpful and nonfunctional. Few pill sizes fit in the holes and when they do and you lower the lid, it either smashes the pill or cuts it and throws the pieces around the table. Concept is severely flawed - that the pills need wiggle room. No they don't.

This product and I have a love/dislike relationship. It doesn't cut one of my pills cleanly. Granted the pill has some sort of covering that, I guess a curved blade doesn't cut properly. The part I dislike is that, now, I need to carry two pill cutters instead of one. What I like is that most of my pills that need cutting work well with the curved blade. I also like that, although the pill cutter is pretty large, it is light in weight. I haven't made use of the cups as I deposit each pill in my pill case immediately after I cut it.

Works great, lots of shapes to choose from... Think it could cut any shape, type of pill. Nice to have the extra cases for storage of daily meds. My only issue is the slits at the top where the pill can easily pop out once cut. You have to hold your hand over that part while cutting to avoid part or all of the pill from flying across the room. Other than that I do love this cutter. The blade recesses so you can't cut yourself. It's worth the money and I'd definitely purchase one for a gift or replacement if need be.

Pills will have crumbles regardless of what and how you cut them. If you are looking for perfection it does not exist. This will cut your pills in half better than any other. My wife and I both use as needed on the occasional half dosage for ourselves. Frankly though I use more for our pet chihuahua. Several of his meds are human over the counter and human Rx (both vet prescribed), that require quartering. This is the only solution I've found to be able to most reliably quarter pills. It is an effort true, but so worth it. Oh, I still loose some, maybe 1/3, but I used to be lucky to get one good quarter using other cutters and methods over the years. Pill cutters are not made to be a production line process, so it is slow.Yes, this is the pill cutter you want and no other.

I bought this as this item looked promising!! One pill cutter cuts all, NOPE! 90% use able for pills. I've found that on pills I use, the size that fits the pill once cut it jambs or require pulling up the cut blade and the pills go flying. Blade does not stay sharp and is not replaceable. Some pills that are softer do not break clean rendering the pill unusable. Big problem, especially on smaller pills,. No I Would Not Recommend.

I recently have had to start cutting my thyroid pills in half. Using all the other splitters has been nothing but a catastrophe, constantly crushing and disproportionately cutting those expensive little pills. This splitter works awesome! I found the correct size compartment to put my pill in and it cuts it perfectly without crushing it or pulverizing it. It was a little pricey but in my opinion well worth the money compared to the little cheaper ones. I can see how it will be extremely helpful if ever I need to cut some big horse pills in half. Highly recommended!

First of all I have 2 pills that I need to split daily and they both don't fit in the cutter correctly so I have to place it in the next bigger opening. The pills don't split correctly in half, with the smaller of the 2 pills I only get 1/2 as the other side turns to almost power and i have to throw it away. The cheap $4.00 splitter from CVS works 100% better. Don't waste your money on this item.
