Works great!
This thing had no leaks. Easily punctured cans. The center is adjustable. Can put its seal against even a threaded can while it’s clamped on. I used it for R22 cans. One threaded 4 oz with leak seal, and one non threaded 15 oz. it worked great with both. No leaks. It is made well. Cheap. And works flawlessly. Can’t ask for much more.

R12 Dispenser
Seems to work okay but is a bit wonky to use. I also purchased a side can tap which feels more secure and has a better seal.

Do NOT use this on R12 cans
I ordered a couple of these because I misplaced my older can taps. I just went to recharge the A/C in my 1982 Porsche and discovered this new can tap wants to shear the lid off of R12 cans, then begins leaking and spraying ice cold refrigerant on your hands, while wasting the extremely expensive and valuable R12. Not to mention, when you manage to get the can pierced, you've lost an unknown amount of gas before you can even begin charging the system. These are going right in the trash and I will order a Mastercool or Robinair can tap.

Ineffective and Leaked
Edit 4/30/25: Seller reached out and offered to amend the issue. Also took advice and suggestions on how to improve the item. Originally 1 star but giving 2 stars for effort. The lever tab pierced the top of the can below the lip it was supposed to grab onto, and the seal didn't properly close the gap. Refrigerant leaked everywhere, and I had to dispose of the can and this item. Got what I paid for I suppose.
