Where have these flasks been all my life?! I shudder to think of all those times I wasn't allowed to bring glass bottles to the beach, sporting events, music festivals, or public parks and I ended up paying outrageous prices for beverages, often because bringing my own favorite drink wasn't permitted. I am thrilled that this lightweight product is now available, and comes in a wonderful one liter size which is easy to fill with a funnel (make sure you have one available - trying to fill it without one is messy!) To test one of these out I filled it about 2/3 with Pinot Grigio and put it in the freezer for a hour (if trying this I would be cautious and not overfill the bag as well as not leave it in the freezer too long) but after I poured it into a glass was chilled very nicely.The bags seem like they are fairly resilient as they are a thick laminated plastic material, but if packing them on a trip I would keep in mind that placing them near any sharp objects or exposing them to extreme heat would shorten probably shorten their lifespan (a trade off from other styles of flasks). I prefer packing light though, so for my lifestyle these are great.As long they are taken care of properly they are likely to offer many afternoons of discreet adult beverage fun. I love picnics and out door music concerts, but they don't allow glass bottles into the parks for safety reasons. These cute little flasks are the perfect solution. My wine actually chills faster and they fit nicelyinto my carry bag cooler.
