Mary & Max - Oder schrumpfen Schafe wenn es regnet?

The Australian animators used clay models (like those created by Nick Park) in amazing model sets. Filmed using digital still cameras on computer controlled gantries, the resulting adult animation has won many awards. Also like a few of the Blu-ray titles I have bought recently it appears to have been intended for a German speaking audience but it includes an English sound track with the lovely voice of Barry Humphries.

If you want to cry your eyes out this is the film for you. The story of a lonely Australian girl and her Middle aged American pen-friend who has Aspergers Syndrome. Funny, poignant and very enjoyable.

The film itself is outstanding. However, had I noticed that the case was German I wouldn't have bought it. The case is also unusually thin. These things are deeply irritating to an autistic collector.
