Galaxy Core Prime Case, [Belt Clip] Shockproof Heavy Duty Rugged Case With Locking Belt Swivel Clip & Kickstand For Samsung Galaxy Core Prime / Prevail 4G LTE (Black)

This is my 12 year olds first phone and he is so proud. He wanted a nice case to protect it but to also make it look "cool". I found this case for him and he is so excited. I couldn't put it on fast enough. It has done more than make it look nice. It had protected the phone from multiple drops with no damage to the phone or the case even. A great purchase for protection on a 12 year olds phone.

This product has it all and it's as good as advertised. The material seems to be very solid and durable.Just one con: I have to use my both hands to take out the phone out of the holster clip. It's a bit challenging. Other than this, the product seems perfect.

This review is for the Galaxy Core Prime Case Cellaria Holster SX. (Sometimes product reviews get lumped together, it's good to specify which specific item is being reviewed).I installed the case on a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime smartphone.The rubber part of the case wrapped easily around the smartphone. One thing immediately noticeable was that the rubber is a dust magnet. Of course it is designed to be placed into the hard plastic part of the case, but dust seems to adhere to any part of the rubber that is left exposed.The plastic hard shell that wraps around the rubber piece is a nice, snug fit. It can be removed without undue effort but there's no way that I can see that the two pieces would accidentally part. In fact the hard shell squeezes the rubber a bit too hard - as if the rubber was too thick to easily fit between the sides of the hard shell. One can see where the hard shell pushes the rubber piece inwards onto the phone surface. Not objectionably, but it is apparent if one looks closely.Normally I wouldn't consider that an issue - but sliding the assembled phone/rubber/hard shell in and out of the belt holster is near nigh impossible. There is not enough clearance given between the two plastic arms of the belt case to allow easy insert/removal of the phone. It is SERIOUSLY a tight fit. I tried simply bending the two arms of the belt case apart but one has to be careful not to put so much pressure that the plastic snaps. I gained only a little - a VERY little - leeway after the attempt.Putting the belt case on ones belt and then inserting the phone is a bit dodgy - the entire contraption wants to push ones trousers down.Removing the phone is much more difficult - even putting one hand underneath and pushing up while guiding with the other hand is not at all effective. The phone is so securely held that any incoming call would have gone to voice mail long before the phone can be extracted from the belt case.That the device offers great protection for the phone cannot be denied - but the belt case is simply unusable.It may be, considering the number of high star reviews by other owners, that I received a poor example of the product. However, one can only review the product one receives, not products that others have received.The small folding support on the back of the hard shell is intended to prop the phone up for use on a table, desktop, etc. and it somewhat accomplishes that. There are two "bumps" that the folding support is intended to engage. The bump keeps the support from folding flat until one is ready to have it do so.In the example I received the first bump does not engage at all; the support simply glides over it. The second bump, which gives a more acute angle to the phone when used, barely engages. The slightest touch or vibration to the desktop sends the support sliding into its home position and the result is, of course, that the phone falls flat on its back.I have placed a spreader between the two arms of the belt case in an attempt to "train" them to stay open the extra millimeter or two required to allow the phone to be inserted/extracted easily.I will update the review if the attempt is successful, but the strength of the plastic arms lead me to believe that without applying heat or some other method of softening the plastic that my attempt will be unsuccessful.The intent of the design is admirable, but the execution of production is lamentable.EDIT: 24 hours later...I left the spreader bar between the plastic arms of the belt holster for several hours, then gently used a pair of pliers to bend the arms backwards. The key to doing this is the word "gently" - one little bit too far and the case would undoubtedly break. After the manipulations I the plastic arms spread wide enough to allow fairly easy insertion/extraction of the phone from the belt holster. I've upgraded the rating to 4 stars - I'm assuming that not all units are shipped with the tight clearances that I received (based on reviews by others). However the unit does not rate 5 stars - purchasers should not have to manipulate units to get them to work properly.HTHRegards,Jim

4yrs later, and I've thrown this phone across the house, out of a moving vehicle, and in the parking lot so many times in the last 4yrs while in this case and still today I can take it out to clean the case and phone looks brand new. Zero cracks or scratches. Best ever

This is the second case my boyfriend has had of this product. The first one, the clip broke off after less than a year (it was a Christmas gift from his daughter). This new one I ordered, the clip was very loose and has broken as well. I feel bad because he really loves this case, the clip just doesn't hold up for him too well. Would like to order him another one, but fear the same will happen.

Works as expected, but the fit is tighter than expected. The rubber coating wants to slide off when I'm sliding it into the holster. It has gotten a bit better and I've used it more, but still a tight fit. I do like the kick-stand on this model and hopefully the clip holds up longer than my previous device.

Looks great on my husband's galaxy core prime. Fits perfectly & he loves the clip. Exactly what we wanted. Looks durable & exactly as pictured. We bought the all black 1.

The phone protective case was nice and is similar to Aero Armor andOtterbox. The kickstand was a nice feature that allows the phone tostand in either a vertical or horizontal position. Due to the hinge pin not being inserted all of the way, mine was difficult to open. Once Ipushed the pin in flush, it worked well. There is a soft liner on theholster to protect the screen. The only problem is the fact that due to sides of the case being soft rubber, the phone is very difficult toinsert and remove from the holster. The sides of the case should behard surfaces as in the above mentioned similar cases to alleviate thisproblem. The belt clip rotates allowing the holster to be worn ineither a vertical or horizontal position although the horizontalposition would be unworkable due to aforementioned problem.
