Well designed and adjustable
It is really well-made. I did have to hire someone to put it together, but that’s mostly because I’m 78 and have arthritis. There are instructions if you have the patience. It’s comfortable and the seat is adjustable. I found the screen a little hard to read because it’s dark gray on light gray And again I’m 78. It’s quite heavy so it stays in place well and it’s quiet so I can read or play a game on my tablet to make the time go a little faster or even watch TV. The resistance is also very adjustable so it’s great for the beginner or someone who is already in better shape and just wants to stay that way And that’s a feature that I was really looking for.

Great bike, would be 5 stars if not for 2 things
Purchased this bike 2 months ago and I use it 5-6 days a week. It’s a great home workout. It is not gym quality but it is definitely higher tier home gym quality. I looked at a lot of bikes and read all of the reviews. Overall I’m very pleased with the purchase and I think the quality is great for the price.Pros: easy assembly, easy to operate, provides a great workout, no issues with seat adjustment or fit for either my wife or myself. Very smooth operation and super quietCons: there are only 2 cons and these are minor but I felt it made it a 4 star vs a 5 star. And Schwinn could easily fix these issues. First, the display is not back lit. I knew this from previous reviews so it was not a surprise. I always have my phone so no biggie to see the screen and if your work out area is well lit then seeing the screen is not an issue. My workout area is not well lit. The second thing and I did not see this in any reviews: the power cord plugs into the front of the bike. My bike face the middle of the room with the seat to the wall. Someone could very easily walk by and accidentally hit it with their foot and break it. Would recommend Schwinn make it so the power cord in in the back.Although it has Bluetooth, you need compatible apps to use it to check pulse. I didn’t care about this but someone might.I would buy this bike again.

It'd probably be nifty, if only it would RUN
Another amendment to my initial review... In addition to not being able to run jrny (unless I buy another tablet) now I realize I can't connect the bluetooth without zwift, which I have to pay for monthly. In other words, I should have purchased a mickeymouse $150 bike because ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES THAT REALLY APPEALED IN THE HYPE DO NOT WORK UNLESS I PAY FOR THEM EVERY MONTH. I wouldn't mind paying a monthly charge if I could use jrny, which was one of the main reasons I bought this piece of crap, but I don't have the right tablet and I'll be cotton-picked if I'm going to buy anything else, given that buying this stupid bike in the first place just about broke the bank. Boy, these guys sure saw me comin'...Amending my initial review yet again: OK, part of the aggravation with this bike is on me, I will admit. I am NOT a particularly tech-savvy person. If you're interested in this bike, be sure you read every bit of fine print and go over it with someone who understands the technology bits. I selected this bike because of the JRNY software, I was excited about the video capabilities, riding with other bikers or traveling through all kinds of places. What I did not realize is that the software is not compatible with anything I already own... not with Windows, not with my Kindle. So the only screen I can use is my smart phone. Teeny-tiny screen... so I can ride through lots of places, but the video is so small I can't pick up much of any detail. Bummer. I could buy another tablet to use, but I already spent what is, to me, a TON of money. So I guess I'll just ride the old boring way... which I could have done for much less money had I understood the connectivity -- or lack thereof. What a waste of money.Amending my review, dropping two stars to one star. The bike has been sitting useless for almost two weeks waiting for a service tech. Never worked. Today I had an email from tech, they state they will have a tech here in almost TWO WEEKS MORE. Four weeks this thing is sitting here like a lump. Meanwhile my insurance won't pay for more P.T. so I'm getting no therapy... THAT'S WHY WE BOUGHT THE STUPID BIKE!Schwinn, or whoever you are, you should be embarrassed.Bike arrived, my husband set it up. Setup is challenging, but if you go step by step using the manual it can be done. Unfortunately, once done there is no power to the unit. So we called the manufacturer, they made a couple of suggestions -- still nuthin'. They were going to send out replacement cables RIGHT AWAY, they arrived about a week later. Slow boat from China? Also were given contact info for a technician. If the cables worked we were to contact the tech and tell him not to come, if they didn't work we should wait to hear from the tech to schedule an on-site visit. Still haven't heard a peep. All things considered, this bike is probably the most expensive PAPER WEIGHT I've ever purchased. Shame on you, Nautilus/Schwinn!

Good Recument Bicycle
Works great, easy to adjust for leg length. Tension setting is good. It feels sturdy.

Schwinn Recumbent Exercise Bike
I purchased the Recumbant bike as Schwinn is a long-standing brand in fitness. I was looking for a long lasting product which would not break the bank but hold up over the years. The value is good and bike took about an hour to assemble with many small pieces. Comes with pictured detailed assembly and instructions. The unit itself is size able not a compact unit. While pedaling on high resistance training mode it is very quiet but on low tension I can hear part of machine inside shake. The workout quality is very good for price-point and is for home use only. This is not gym quality equipment nor does price reflect. The seat provides ample space for bigger bodies but it is not cushioned nor feel comfortable for long sessions but is molded for contours of the anatomy. The bike offers a simple, clear monitor screen for manual, interval & challenging modes with a 12, 24, 30 & longer minute workout. Tension & resistance is excellent and does make for an effective cardio session. The weight of bike is good and you can move it around on its wheel base if needed. All in all a good piece of equipment for the home base workout that will be within a families budget. The seat is adjustable back & forth only not in the up and down and sits on a slight incline. I find myself pushing back in the seat often to accommodate and correct that after adjusting the appropriate leg length.
