Worked perfectly for cleaning my motorcycle chain. It's worth the money to make the job so much easier.

I love this brush! I don't know how people cannot like this device. I use it with my chain and it really cleans off all the tough debris. Of course, if you want your chain spotless then you have to use a degreaser and other cleaning products. That, however, is costly and takes a lot more time. I ride 3-4 times a week, sometimes more. The chain always needs to be maintained and once a week it should be thoroughly cleaned. This brush is perfect for after rides when you don't want to get crazy on scrubbing but want all the heavy filth to come off. It fits easily on the chain and is easy to hold while cranking the pedals to move the chain. It captures 3 sides of the chain and all that is needed is to reposition the device once to capture the last side. I personally think for the price, it does a great job. Plus, if you own an internal cleaner, you can use this for the 3 out of 4 cleanings to save on the different cleaning agents that are needed with it.

Prior to the Grunge Brush I just used a rag to clean my bicycle chain. In comparison, using the Grunge Brush is a simple way to provide a more though cleaning of the entire drivetrain. The process I used was found on a YouTube video:1/. Dip the three-sided nylon bristle short heads of the Grunge Brush in some citrus degreaser.2/. Press the head down on to the top of the chain.3/. Remove the Grunge Brush and go over the chain with a rag.I then repeat the steps one more time, after attaching the head of the Grunge Brush to the side of the chain. You can also use the three-head side of the Grunge Brush and a rag to clean the derailleur pulleys and front chainrings. The long nylon bristle end does a great job getting at the gunked up grime from inside the derailleur cage behind the pulleys, which are typically impossible to clean without removing the derailleur. It can be used to do a quick clean of the cogset and is more though than a using a rag or toothbrush. After cleaning, I let the drivetrain dry thoroughly before applying either a wet or dry lube.Overall using the Grunge Brush was a step above and provided a much more through cleaning than just using a rag. It's a good drivetrain maintenance tool to use, that does a good job without having to disassemble the drivetrain for a more thorough cleaning. One disadvantage is the handle is made of plastic, so not sure how long it will hold up in terms of durability.

There was a few brushes available but I chose finish line bc I like their products. This brush is heavy duty and bigger than I thought / see images. I’ve used it 1 time on a Chicago winter Salty greasy disgusting chain. Cleans well. Not perfect bc chain cleaning is always a mess. See pics of chain after cleaning and size compared to my foot. Most of the gunk was gone after a few cycles of soap and water.

It worked great on my road and mountain bikes….until it broke right where the brushes attach. I think I’ve had it for about four months.I don’t think I’m a furious chain cleaner or anything so I can’t explain the failure.I am sold on these type of brushes so I’ll probably buy something similar.
