Microplane Premium Classic Series Citrus Zester and Grater - Turquoise

This plane/zester is great quality.It has about an 8 inch blade and 4 inch handle and comes with a plastic cover for the blade. It is very sharp but you can zest an orange or lemon quickly. I havent tried it on cheese yet but I am sure it will do an excellent job on any block cheese. I use my bottle brush to clean it a little and rinse it off. Let it dry on its own. The blade is made in the USA and the handle is a sturdy plastic.I think it will last for many years.Unless you are looking for something smaller, this is a great kitchen tool.

Another winner - Cook's Illustrated recommended this. First time I used it to zest a fresh lemon. It was effortless and performed better than any zester I have used. love the protective shield as well!

It's great for processing garlic, ginger etc to the point that it melts into whatever you're adding it to. Works well, and is well made. Happy with purchase!

Very sharp. Shreds garlic, zest, Parm, and ginger rapidly and well. This Microplane replaces my 15year-old Microplane. I bought another brand that isn’t nearly as sharp.

Perfect microplane. I use mine frequently in the kitchen, so I've owned a few over the years. Great grip for the hand, and the microplane itself is sharp and easy to clean. I love the new colors! Always "grate" quality.

The microplane is absolutely the best. Works great for grating hard cheeses, nutmeg, zesting lemons and limes easily without a lot of effort in a short time. I have gifted this item to friends and family and they love it as I do.
