Amazon Basics Durable Litter Scoop for Cat Litter Box, with Holder, Efficient Scooper

Very sturdy and the better design makes it easier to use than my previous, more expensive scoop. I like the convenience of the storage container that I hang on the edge of the litter box.

I expected a cheap scooper because the price was under $10, but it is sturdy and works much better than the scooper I bought at Walmart at a higher cost. And it comes with a holder that attaches easily to the side of the litter box! The only thing I would complain about is that it only comes in the one color. I would prefer to have some color choices, but that's just my preference. All around this is a really great deal!

Sturdy, with a holder that attaches to the litter box. Handle is perfectly sized. I compared it to other litter scoops and the cost was less and quality has proved to be much better than I expected. I love the holder for convenience and a place to store it!

Good sturdy scoop

Get that kitty litter box cleaned with this adjustable arm scoop. If you don't want to have your nose over the litter box when you clean it, then try this adjustable length scooper. I, personally, want to stay as far away as possible when cleaning out my cat's litter box. I can't hold my breath long enough to get it all done so this long arm scoop works well for the "stuff" farther away. Make it as pleasant as possible for you when you clean. The kitties will appreciate it too. Have you ever used an outhouse. It's like that for your kitties when you don't keep it clean. I'm rambling, but this is a good scoop. It might slip if not twisted tight. Good luck.

Exactly what I was looking for. In the spirit of better litter box care, I purchased 66-quart and 90-quart storage boxes for my large kittens to use as litter boxes and spread them around my apartment. I didn't want to carry the scoop around with me - I know myself, and I would definitely accidentally drop it or touch things with it, which is a 'no thank you' from me. I figured someone must have invented scoop holders. Lo and behold, they have! The first was so pleasing that I now have one for each of the litter boxes. The scoop works perfectly fine as far as scoops go, and the holder fits great on the side of the container.

The scoop and caddy themselves are made with pretty sturdy plastic. And I like how the caddy can hang on the edge of my litter box. However, the scoop itself was pretty poorly designed.The handle should be reversed as the smooth side should be on top, not the hollow side with ridges. The current design makes litter gather in the hollow handle and scatter when I flip the scoop to empty out the litter clumps.The scoop is also shallower than I would've liked.The size of the slits are good enough for picking up smaller broken clumps.
