What a great brush! My German Shepherd does not like to be brushed and I have to give her a lot of quick brushes when I can.. This brush allows me to do this and remove a lot of hair. It's awesome. I also love that it is self cleaning no longer have to pull her hair out from around the bristles

This is a phenomenal brush. I have 3 rag doll cats. Only 1 out of 3 likes to be groomed. This brush I’m telling you truthfully is a game changer. It not only is gentle, it combs through all of the long hair and dematts. And best of all no floofs of hair fly off the brush. It does everything the seller promotes. And after the first couple of brushings, the 2 that don’t like to be groomed don’t run from me. They actually enjoy it. When coming through matted spot it does not hurt them at all and can be gently worked out. The last thing I noticed was it does help distribute the natural oils of their coats, which makes their hair soft. Don’t hesitate to purchase. You won’t need a groomer any longer.

Comfortable grip for this slicker brush and I love how easy it is to remove the hair with the click of a button. My only complaint (and hence the 4 stars) is that you push the button in to have the bristles out for brushing. With that the button flops out and in noisily while brushing. I find myself holding my thumb over the button so it doesn't clang around and scare my dog or distract my family while doing other activities. would be nice if they made it the reverse where pushing the button in retracts the bristles which is the position you would use it in for less time.

I have tried other brushes for my Australian Lab doodle. This is the only one she'll let me brush her with. It does a great job on her coat getting deep tangles out. Nubs on the bristles make it comfy on her skin. Wish there was a smaller size for my puppy

We adopted a Lab/Australian Shepherd mix and I researched the best brushes to use to manage shedding. This company recommended 3 different brushes/combs they make as a 3 step brushing process, but only the deshedding tool pulls out any hair. I absolutely love that deshedder!This particular brush is easy to use and I love the function where you can withdraw the bristles to make removing hair easy. For a pure Australian Shepherd maybe this would do more. Our dog has Australian hair on his neck and hind legs, but most of his hair is more Lab like. Therefore, the brush just glides through and doesn't pull out any hair. I imagine it would work better for longer hair prone to tangles. If you dog has more smooth or silky hair that does not tangle, I would not recommend this brush because I don't think it will do much. Or at least check with the manufacturer first regarding your dog's specific hair.

Omg love this brush one of my great pyrs has a very thick undercoat...this is the best brush I've ever used on him! He was standing in line behind my other pyr wanting to get brushed,!!!
