Super Motivating and Accurate
I’m doing intermittent fasting and longer fasts on weekends, and these strips have been a game changer. They're easy to use, results show up fast, and I’ve been hitting solid ketone levels (4.0!) which keeps me super motivated. The color chart is clear, and the strips actually help me stay on track — seeing those results makes the effort worth it. Great value and they do exactly what they promise. Will definitely be buying again!

Easy to use and comes in a quality container. Fresh product.
These are the best strips that I have found on Amazon. They come in a black bottle which Shields them from the sun. It's obvious that this product comes from a manufacturer that really cares and wants to provide fresh testing strips to their patrons. The guide on the side of the bottle is a nice size and makes it easy to compare the test trip with the results. I haven't downloaded the Guide but I will do so and I think that's very nice of the manufacturer. It's obvious they care about their customers and the results they achieve. I would not use any other product for testing keytone levels.

Work well, But!
They work well, but once you crack the seal, you have to use them within a few month. For someone who is not on keto, but does an occasional 2-3 day fast, they were not a good value for the money. Id use like 1/3 of them and then they would expire and not work. I found another brand on Amazon that has 100 strips sealed in 10 separate packages... Buying those from now on...UPDATED REVIEW: 12-21-2023So, I left a review in the beginning of the year... and I complained that once you crack the seal, they go bad within 90 days (That's what it says on the box).... I just used them today, which is 9 MONTH since I opened them, and they work just fine! I have fresh test strips, and decided to compare them... Both were showing the same result over and over again. If you buys these, looks like you can use them WAAYYY past 90 days! Dont throw them away, they work just fine 9 month later. Just make sure you close the lid as soon as you pull the strip out and store them in a cool place...

Simple & Affordable Way to Track Ketosis (Retired Nurse Review)
Helpful for Beginners — A Retired Nurse’s Honest OpinionAs a retired nurse starting a keto lifestyle, I found these strips helpful in the early stages. They’re easy to use, affordable, and give quick results — a good starting point for anyone new to keto. Just dip, wait a few seconds, and match the color. That said, they aren’t as precise as blood ketone meters, especially once your body becomes more fat-adapted. They’re most useful during the first few weeks when your body is still producing excess ketones that show up in urine.Tip: Test in the morning (fasted) or before meals for better consistency.Overall, a great tool to stay motivated and track your progress — just remember, they’re not a perfect science. This review is based on my personal experience and not intended as medical advice.— Lisa Ruth, Retired Nurse & Frequent Traveler

Not working for me so far
I’ve been doing Keto strictly for over a week and these strips are not showing any color change at all. Not sure if I got a set of duds or if I’m just not in ketosis yet. I’ll keep checking every day and if they start working I’ll update my review.Edit: the strips are working! I've been eating Keto for 11 days and finally today is the first time the strip changed colors.

May not be suitable if you are a senior
These are the instructions which come with the package. Read carefully, because it may affect whether you choose to use this product or not.Note: Any visual impairment, including but not limited to color blindness, will affect the user's ability to read the test results. To perform a midstream test:1. Gently wash the genital area thoroughly with soap and water then rinse well prior to testing. Wash your hands.2. Remove the strip from the vial and use the strip as soon as possible. Immediately close the vial tightly.3. Hold the end of the strip farthest away from the test pad(s) and begin urinating. After 1 or 2 seconds of passing urine, hold the strip downward with the test pad pointing into the urine stream for 1 - 2 seconds. Make sure the test pad is completely wet.4. After removing the strip from your urine, immediately bring the edge of the strip into contact with an absorbant material (e.g., paper towel) to remove excess urine. Lay the strip with the test pad(s) facing upwards and begin timing.5. You may read results starting at 40 seconds. After 2 minutes, the results may not be accurate. Compare the test pad to the color blocks on the vial label. Make sure that you read the results in a well-lit area. Hold the strip close to the color blocks, and carefully match the pad to the color chart. Discard the strip after 2 minutes. What do the color blocks on the vial represent?... The color blocks from left (light color) to right (dark color) represent, 0 mmoi/L (-), 0.5 mmoi/L (+), 1.5 mmoi/L (++), 4.0 mmoi/L (+++), 8.0 mmoi/L (++++) and 16 mmoi/L (++++). Proper read time is important for best results. What does it mean if my result is negative?A negative result means that ketones were not detected in the urine. This is normal if eating a high-carbohydrate diet of if you are eating a low-carbohydrate diet after several weeks and have become fat-adapted. Once you've become fat-adapted, the ketones you produce may no longer be spilled into your urine.SUMMARY(1) if you are a senior, as I am--- (1.1) chances are you can not take the time to stop and wash the area in question. Getting to the commode is first and foremost on your mind!--- (1.2) starting and stopping the flow may be near impossible; or simply not long enough to accommodate 1-2 seconds--- (1.3) not be able to direct the flow onto the strip, especially if you are female(2) how to interpret the results? It's nice that all that technical jargon is provided but what the heck does it mean? What value(s) should I be looking for? What value is ketosis? What value is ketoacidosis? Also, what if my color is somewhere between 2 colors? How do I interpret that results?(3) the reason I sent it back is because I've been on Keto diet for 4 months-- according to their own insert, it's not likely to produce a useful result as I am "fat adapted."I've attached scans of the insert, both front and back.
