Fun game for family and 8 year old boy!
This game is easy to learn with the tutorial, my 8 year old son was able to navigate it on his own. The wooden pieces are cute and colorful, we like the theme based game and rules to farm the dinosaurs. We had returned the Viking theme game from the same company, only because the theme was too mature and the music in the tutorial was too intense for my child. It was just not a game for us. We are looking forward to purchasing other games boards from the company that are for all ages.It is simple enough and strategic for all ages to enjoy. We like the small packaging and portability.

Fun, light and challenging even in solo mode.
This is the last game of the tiny epic series I bought. Mainly due to the art, ot felt childish but after getting and plying it, it grew on me. Is a game of worker placement and resource control. You have workers you place to get certain resources such as supplies, meat, plants and barriers. Or you can get dinosaurs. The game is played in a series of six rounds each divided in seven phases. You must carefully plan, specially at the begging of the game as every decision has a heavy impact on how well you will do. The objective is to complete private and public contracts that asks for certain dinosaurs combinations to score victory points. Strategies can be taken further by the use of dna cards that grant you special dinosaurs with special effects or research cards that grant you special effects. Both are worth victory points at the end. The player with most victory points at the end of the six round wins. The hame is highly replaceable and solo mode is very fun and challenging. With various levels of difficulty and the poacher being the hardest in my experience. Is very fun but due that you are planning offers little player interaction. But it does let you mess with others strategy by taking the 1st player token, stealing resources, or blocking them from taking certain actions. Or of you watch carefully you can take the contract they had spen two rounds working to fulfill. But that’s just down right evil 😈.Over all one of my go to for light quick fun game. Solo or many players is still very enjoyable and fulfilling. Portable and quick set up. Perfect for a dad like me who can not bring something like dinosaur island to the table often.

Basically Jurassic Park the game
I already like Tiny Epic games. This is probably my favorite. If you can imagine a Jurassic Park game, this is more or less the one you want. Small package, great price, endless fun. What more can you ask for?You build parks and enclosures to house dinosaurs. The dinosaurs are hungry. If you can't feed them, they'll still eat - guess what? - your other dinosaurs! Very well made and lots of fun. If you don't like this game, maybe board games aren't your thing.I look at this game as an example to understand how to make games well. I think anyone who likes board games has to give at least one Tiny Epic game a try, and this is the one I would recommend most.Limited closet space? Desperate for something besides Monopoly, Risk, or Settlers of Catan? Like building games with dire consequences? Think dinosaurs are the least bit cool or interesting? Look no further. My only minor criticism is that some might consider it complex with the different special dinosaurs and some of the rules about how and when to place dinos. Any board game is going to have a learning curve, and this one is small.

Colourful and a bit thinky
The pieces are way TOO Tiny. But the gameplay has good flow and good reminders of the flow. The cards are cleverly themed. Fun.

Tiny Epic Should Make a Pokemon Version of This!
I debated over getting this one or tiny epic space or tiny epic pirates. This one won, and not only did it win the purchase but it won a permanent stay in my collection. This game was a hit for me and my gaming partner we both put hours into this game trying to best each other in this fun worker placement dinosaur ranching game. Hunt for dinosaur or get them delivered to your ranch directly. Feed them, breed them, pair them and sell them. Build walls so the omnivores don't mix with the carnivores and you don't wake up one morning to a happy few and full carnivores thanking you for your stupidity. Learn new technology and gather special dinosaurs that reward you with special abilities and extra points when they are sold. Really fun, quick and accessible game for kids, teens and adults alike. After a while you do wonder if maybe one day a Pokemon Version of this game could become a reality.

Fun but very very tiny
It’s easy enough to learn and play. And the play materials are all very colorful and good quality. But when it says “tiny,” it means it. The pieces are so very small. I don’t recommend playing with a toddler nearby, because he will try to steal the teeny tiny dinos, and then you might lose some of them. So, while I do very much recommend this game, I don’t recommend it for small children. My toddler got ahold of one of the purple (unique) dinosaurs and bit its tail off. We can still use it, but maybe will only play during the toddler’s nap time moving forward.
