Spot cleaner was delivered super quick and delivered with care by royal mail.Got the cleaner new for £92 which was a fantastic price and well happy 😁I used it today and was easy to set up and use, my god it worked amazing and cleaned my car mats just to try it and came up like new considering they are over 12 years old, sucked an amazing amount of dirt out of them and the amazing suction left them almost dry which was so impressive.I got this mainly for my new puppy coming soon as I have new beige carpets and accidents will happen and this is going to be fantastic for keeping everything clean. I had an old stain on the arm of a chair which I was going to replace but this cleaner has brought it up like new again so it has actually paid for itself 10 times over. I'm actually gobsmacked with this.One of the best features is after use you can clean everything easy with the self clean function and everything comes apart to rinse and clean, I just left it overnight to dry, then it's easy to clip the hose around the 3 clips with one of the cleaning heads and the cable has its own bit to wrap around so it's very compact and sturdy, nice size, not heavy and easy storable.I had an old cleaner years ago but the cleaning head didn't come apart and it got full of carpet fibres and dirt and I had to use a knife to stick in to try and clean it, but as I mentioned it all comes apart easy so it's going away completely clean and like new which is a massive selling point for me, as you can maybe tell from this review I'm totally over the moon with this. I recently got the Vax SpotWash Duo and I am absolutely loving it! Easy to set up and operate, this powerful little carpet spot cleaner is ideal for occasional spills and cat sick when he's huffed up a hairball! In fact, there was a slight stain that we've struggled with for about a year and this machine got rid of it in less than a minute. It feels very sturdy and it's not too big and unwieldy for arthritic hands. There is only a slight damp patch after use as it sucks up almost all the water. The self-cleaning hose is a bonus.

The staircase carpet in my home is often soiled by children playing. I'm looking forward to receiving SpotWash Duo (with special tools and cleaning solution). My home has limited space, so its 1 L compact body is perfect for me.I used the main brush to clean the old coffee stains and dirt on the carpet. After spraying the liquid and scrubbing, the old stains were almost invisible within seconds. Some brownish-yellow sediment came out of the dirty water tank, which gave me a great sense of achievement. It's clean to the satisfaction - just like a "miracle cleaner", it has improved the appearance of the carpet.AdvantagesThe dual water tank design allows for a clear view of the cleaning effect and provides immediate feedbackThe two dedicated tools are both suitable for different types of stains, avoiding cross-contaminationThe portable size is suitable for small-scale use in vehicles and at home.DisadvantageAlthough this machine is powerful, its water tank capacity is not large. You need to replenish water after using it for a while. I only washed the carpet on the staircase and used 1L of concentrated cleaning solution, which is more suitable for spot stains but not for large-scale cleaning. After cleaning, it takes some effort to rinse the water tank and hoses to prevent dampness, odors or bacterial growth.

Item arrived very well boxed and with very clear and concise instructions. But we found that priming for the first time, did not work if you followed the instructions. We found that putting the unit on a higher up stair and holding the hose end at a much lower level and then following the instructions it made the priming work first time . Apart from that this cleaner is truly a great piece of kit and does an amazing job and leaves behind a very clean carpet which is almost dry but needs maybe an hour or two to be totally dry. But be prepared it’s very noisy in use, and is heavy but not an issue when in use. The cable length is long enough to go the height of the stairs but for us with the placement of our mains plugs required an extension cable. As already said this is an excellent carpet cleaner and whilst you may think that your carpet is clean, as we did, you will be amazed at how much crud comes out of that carpet, especially as we have woofers and we vacuum every other day and daily during the moulting seasons, but the difference really is noticeable. A great purchase, should have purchased this VAX earlier.
