This is a large metal box of Walkers shortbread, with 4.6 pounds of buttery goodness packaged into 12 individual sleeved trays to keep them fresh longer. Each of the trays contained one of the 4 popular cookie shapes, including rounds, fingers, triangles, and a shape called Demerara, which was a thinner round with a textured top instead of Walker's usual smooth shape. I was a bit hesitant to order because many of the other reviews mentioned receiving stale, broken cookies that could only be used for pie crusts and crumble tops. The cookies that I received were fresh and in pristine condition---there was not so much as a broken corner on any of those many, many cookies, let alone a box of crumbles that others had mentioned. My husband and I have been snacking on this package for 2 months now, and still have 1/3 of the package in unopened sleeves. The metal box decorations suggest that these may be Costco Christmas overstock so I'm not sure how long Amazon will have these---but I sure hope that I can order one more box before they run out.

The product came delivered heavily damaged, with most of it inedible. While the outside packaging looked fine, inside, every single cookie was in pieces, most were literally powderized. Have no idea how the product could have even gotten in this kind of shape without some severe packaging damage, but somehow it did. VERY disappointing.

Best with coffee in the morning without going downstair to buy more greasy donuts.

Box of shortbread is MUCH bigger than I expected. The cookies are packed about 9 to a tray, and the bars are in a double layer. Because they're wrapped in smaller batches, the shortbread stays fresh longer. Delicious. Thanks

Every one in dented container was broken

Love these cookies. Fresher than buying them at my grocery store. It was nice that they were packaged in groups and layers to keep them fresh. You could easily pop the little packs into gifts for others as an extra or as stocking stuffers. We plan on eating them all, however. Walkers are the best shortbread i have found.

Walker short bread cookies are the best we have had. We have ordered these several times over the past years and noticed the price increased steadily. However, we opted to continue purchasing as there are no other shortbread cookies that can compare. However, Amazon is the shipper. This shipment contained 2 cans. One was in perfect condition, the other was not. The tin was bent out of shape and the top was not on. I suspect handlers at Amazon must have dropped the can in packing. Only explanation. Two levels of cookies in this damaged tin were completely crumbled. At the price paid this is not a great experience. I am considering contacting Amazon. The cookies pieces are edible but not something you would put out for company tea.!!!!!
