Best Vacuum I've owned
My original Quantum that I've owned for about 7+years finally kicked the bucket. Was my best purchase seeing that I have 3 very hairy dogs, kids, adults you name it, and this vacuum was amazing. Was it a heavy vacuum, YES!!! Did the water get nasty and is it a chore to lock and unlock the water canister, heck yeah, but with 3 dogs! I had mine for so long it didn;t bother me after a while. I'd rather know the canister is locked in good considering it has water inside. I used my vacuum pretty much EVERYDAY for almost 7 years. Never any issues. It would pick everything and anything up and loved it!!!! I'd dump the canister of water outside in the grass, easy clean up. No big mess in the garbage can so hair and stinky's wont smell or hair leak out. Once my original Quantum died I decided to try out the Shark due to reviews and how light weight it was and I was trying to not spend much this time around. I Used it 1x and returned it. I remembered how smelly those canisters can become and yes they are a lot less expensive then Quantum, however you add up having to keep replacing those filers and the smell that those canisters can harbor. (Quantum vacuum, I can put essential oils in the water to make the room smell nice) So I decided to return the Shark and get another Quantum. This time around, I'm not quite sure. This one I am already returning after 1 use. Easy to put together to be honest. However the lights on the bottom kept flickering and brush wouldn't turn. Trouble shooting said blockage. Well if it was only used 1x, I'm sure its not blockage. I looked and took it back apart. I dont feel like I should trouble shoot on 1st use. So I'm returning this one and will order another incase it was just a faulty one. I have high hopes on this. So here I go to order another and pray for the best. My review is for my original purchase of a Quantum. It definitely stood the test of times.UPDATE: Received another Qauntum today. I'm SO GLAD I went and re-ordered the same one. I'm sure the first one was a faulty vacuum. Night and day on pick-up. Brush was spinning just fine. Lights were not flickering. So happy with the re-order.. Happy Cleaner!Another update: there is a reset button down by the brush unit.. Had no idea there was a reset button. So if your lights flicker or brush stops rolling, hit that button and your all set to keep on vacuuming. Again this is by far the best vacuum I've ever owned. I'd give it 10 starts if I could.

Great deal for such a powerful vacuum.
This vacuum has crazy power. I have the smaller stick Dyson and thought it did a good job but ran this vacuum behind it and the water filter showed how much was missed. I definitely recommend it, especially with how easy it is to clean after use. Worth the price for sure.

Canister failed after 5 months!
The media could not be loaded. Update: October 2024. Over a year later, I can absolutely say for certain that this is one of the worst purchases I've ever made. I've had the hose break twice. Now the head won't click into place when I lean it back to move it around the house and it just falls to the floor and I have to drag it. The worst issue of all though, is that I started smelling a HORRIBLE mold odor and couldn't find the cause of it. Finally, I realized that when you lean the vacuum back, the intake tube isn't even in the water anymore and is actually just blowing wet dirt up into the motor and out of the outtake vent. That whole area that CANNOT be cleaned is just full of dirt and growing mold. It's horrific. Do NOT buy this. Stick with Rainbow.Original review:This is a $500 vacuum. I am beyond upset tonight. I loved it enough that I could get over the fact that the hose doesn't stay connected, and the power cord doesn't have a holder, and the myriad of other small inconveniences. But tonight, the canister failed. I started vacuuming before dinner, I paused to make and eat dinner, and when I returned, the canister had developed a leak along the edge and all of the water had run out onto my click together wood flooring. My floor is ruined, raised all along the seam edges, and it's going to cost me far more than this vacuum is worth, to replace it. I am so, so, so upset! This appears to be a solid molded piece of plastic but apparently it's not! I guess it's seamed together in some way?! How does this even happen? I literally cried. I'm emailing the company because it's under warranty... But that isn't going to fix my floor and I know all they will (might) do is replace the canister, which I'm now terrified to use. I can promise you that I will never leave the vacuum unattended again, that's for sure. And no, it didn't fall over and leak, watch the video! I took the canister and refilled it to identify the leak and it's legit just pouring out of the side seam. This is not okay. This vacuum is WAY too high priced for these kinds of problems 5 months in.
