Works just as described!
Works great, switch it to on and boots up within seconds, continue to drive and in motion works flawless, once your stopped/parked for 6mins it will stop in motion tracking and will then go into sleep mode, while it does this you will lose signal for just a few seconds and then it will get quite and then will continue its signal, it is now in sleep mode, you can either switch the unit off or you can leave the unit on, either way it still gets signal while your stationery, if you leave the switch on then once you start to drive over 10mph it will then start to track in motion, the only down side about unit is while in motion its kinda loud but once your driving watching TV you can't hear it at all!

It worked great stationary or in motion for about 6 months but ...
I purchased this unit 7/27/17 and installed it on our RV myself, satellite provider is Dish Network. It worked great stationary or in motion for about 6 months but in January we turned it on and it would not find the satellite. Would go thru its normal orientation process then stop and start making quick minor adjustments for about 10 minutes then stop but no signal. I contacted Winegard and they told me to return the unit which I did and they returned it to me about a week later but still has the same problem. If you turn it off when it just starts making the quick minor adjustments it will pick up a few channels when stationary (I pick up 3 channels of 350 that I have found). I contacted them again and they said that I need to get with tech support when I am with the unit to trouble shoot. I will update this post as things continue. Currently it is a very expensive roof ornament.

Superior product.
I've had King units on my semi for years. The King pro takes about 10 minutes to line up. The Winegard lines up in under 2 minutes with more transponders working. It makes me wish that I had done this earlier.

The device does not have the capacity to allow for a high definition signal.

I purchased this for my Class A , I installed it my self watching numerous You tube videos, Installation instructions are vague form the Manufacture. Make sure you have planned and thought out where you plan to install the device. Plan for the future .. solar panel installations etc .. Make sure you have plenty of Dicor and plastic gloves, be patience and allow 2 hrs for installation or $350 for professional installationsThe device works great, after I made sure I had a 12v adapter for power, once install the dish reception is awesome , it worked great traveling down the road if the road was not too bumpy , on very very bumpy roads you will loose reception.

I am an old satellite installer. have installed probably 2000 RV satellites. All brands. Had to swamp out to this T4 to continue in-motion when switching to Dish from DTV. I took off a Trac Star, because the software was out dated, none available. This one works fine, tracks really well, but it is awful listening to the washing machine motor on the roof for 5-7 minutes when you stop. Once the dish goes to sleep, it's fine. When asleep, you can still switch satellite's fine. You do have the option to turn it off, but it will only receive channels from that satellite, until you turn it back on. Once you do that, it has to go through its setup for several minutes, before you can watch TV again. When you start to drive again, it doesn't wake up till 10 MPH, then starts the setup again looking for the satellite, which can take a couple of minutes.I highly recommend turning the Winegard off at night, it starts to switch satellites on it's own, and will wake you up. Not the washing machine noise, just the quick sound of it switching sats. I talked to Winegard about it, they said the receiver may be powering down on its own, so the dish looses voltage and starts to hunt. I have left it on, and disabled "upgrades" in the dish menu, but it still does it. Not a big deal, but if you want to watch TV in the morning, you have to go through the 5-7 minutes of washing machine sound on the roof. Not fun when you are trying to wake up.What we did is added a DVR function, recored several hours of music, so if we are traveling in mountains, we simply go to the DVR function, listen to music till we are in the clear.Music is what we mostly like about in-motion in the 1st place.Winegards customer service is great on chat or email, even on weekends.Bottom line, if you want in-motion, unless you want to lay out even bigger bucks for a boat one, this is it. The picture quality is great with Dish HD.Two more notes: Per Winegard, I went with the VP211 receiver. They told me, Dish constantly updates the Wally, so it causes issues. Note, the VP211 does NOT have a UHF remote, but can be over come with an aftermarket kit to convert. If you take the Dish receiver from a home dish, and put it on T4, it takes a bunch of time waiting for it to reconfigure the Dish receiver. (45 minutes to 1hr). I am going to purchase a non in-motion dome, installing it outside my shop to put receiver on, when coach is in my shop. Less hassles.Per Winegard, any of their dome dish's have the same configuration (SW64 switch) except Playmaker and Pathways. They recommend the G3 carry out which have same configuration as the T4
