I have come back after goodness how long to edit my review. Long story short, these are excellent tyres and my previous 4 star rating was unfair.When I got these it took me a good 4 hours to get them on (two wheels). My previous review lamented that this was maybe the tyre’s fault.Well, today I took the tyre off. It took me about 20 min… I was considering just throwing them away…Then I tried putting them on another rim.Took me about a minute… it wasn’t the tyres fault it was my rims (Ambrosia 19 elites… known to be terribly hard to get tyres on)…So the tyres are excellent and I just had to come back here and give them the one star I took off last time.

Little to no wear on the tires after 1000km on asphalt roads.Haven't had a flat yet.

Nowadays, it is very hard to find high-quality, light 27 x 1 1/8 tires for older bikes. The Panaracerfolding tire is very nice--it rolls smoothly, is light, and has classic looks with reasonable treadpattern (not a slick). Given that the market for light, high-end 27" tires has dried up,this is about as good as you can hope to find these days (at least if you want gum sidewalls).So far, I like it a lot. But we'll see how long it lasts.

Cheap quality. Would advise against.This happened on my very first ride only 15 miles in. Had to get someone to pick me up
